The most perplexing thing about this run is that we're doing it without Hedman, Lecavalier and a real goalie. I'm not complaining though as long as we keep playing the way we do, no quit boys!!
I'm absolutely furious over that call, but with this likely being the final nail in our coffin, I'd like to say I really hope you guys win the division.

I've run into this...I was in North Carolina last May visiting friends for a weekend, and was surprised by the amount of Lightning support there...like Rschmitz said, it's especially surprising considering we ended their season. But we got along well, talking about our hatred for the other Southeast teams (Caps mostly).
This is especially surprising considering we ended your playoff chances last season.
Personally, I don't blame you for that. We had beaten you a couple times already last year, it wasn't like we were incapable of doing so. We just **** the bed and you guys played your game, nothing wrong with it.

Everybody hates the Caps.
Florida, Washington and Atlanta hated the Lightning.
Tampa Bay hates the Caps, hated the Thrashers and dislike the Panthers.
Carolina hates the Panthers and vice versa
Washington hates everybody.
Nobody cares about the Jets since they won't be in the division soon anyway.
Atleast that's how I always see it based on HF.

As a Lightning fan I always had respect for the Canes because
1) They are the only other Stanley Cup winners in our division
2) They used to be the Whale and I always loved the Whale

I don't dislike any of the teams in the southeast, probably because there don't seem to be any true rivalries. I doubt any of them crack my top ten least favorite to be honest.

If only we could see the same success on the road, we would easily be holding a playoff position right now.
