Good thing Arniel kept Nash off the penalty kill during his time here. I know our penalty kill would still suck, but I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be 30th as opposing teams would be a little more careful at the point so as not to lead to takeaways - Pittsburgh and Phoenix can tell you about that.

I'm convinced Arniel was a dumbass. Dumbassery+Lack of talent = #1 draft pick.

I heard Arniel did great on his PI yest questions.
What a nice goal by Nash. Still blows my mind why Arniel refused to use him on the PK.

Dumbassery - I like it! Oh, and don't forget about his issues with Brassard, you know, one of the few guys that has played hard most nights this season.

Don't forget about his issues with Commy. Yeah #22 was over paid but he was better than our #6 Dman; and he's still on the books.
I'm sure Arnie would make an outstanding middle manager at a steel company.....................
Worker: "Mixture's running a little cool today."
Arniel: "Add more coke then!"
Worker: "Just a little bit?"
Arniel: "No, pile it on! Just keep piling on!"
Haha that interview was great. Nash is such a good guy, his facial expression walking away made me laugh. As much as I like the guy, Im going to appreciate the new culture change hopefully...Its a shame hes getting blamed for Howson and Priest's mistakes. Yes, Im in denial that the only way we will get a new culture is with Priest and Howson canned.

Just re-watched the goal. Nash gave a slight little fist bump then skated to the bench. It seemed like he scored a meaningless goal to make the team "only" be down 7-1 not scoring shorthanded to take the lead.
He really didn't interact much with his teammates either.

Worker: Are you sure we're supposed to use that much?
Arniel: That's never been a problem for us in the past. I can show you the stats if you want.

Dead man walking.
He's been playing without passion all season, not just since January.
Worker: Thanks for coming so quickly. I'm not sure what's wrong with the copy machine, I think it's running low on toner.
Arniel: That hasn't been a problem for us. I'll show you the stats on that!
Worker: Well there's this button here and it says the toner is at 15% remaining.
Arniel: Oh is that what it is? Well I guess you guys just have all the answers and you're waiting to jump.

I think you are looking too much into it. They were probably tired .
But really, the writing is on the wall. I wish Howson could have gotten a better deal so we could get on with forming our team. These games can be used for something.

Maybe he was tired? How long had he been on the ice before the goal?
I try not to read into such things because it will drive you nuts.

They are.
Nash trying to boost his stats and value before getting traded at the draft.
