Devin Setoguchi to D.C.

With Minnesota being pretty close to the cap and alot of top 6 guys plus prospects coming in this season I was thinking a Setoguchi trade to D.C. could help both teams. The Wild need a defenseman and the Caps need a 2nd line winger.

Jeff Schultz+2nd rounder + decent prospect if needed for Setoguchi? Too much? Or need more?

If you're a Wild fan thats a done freaking deal.

If you're a caps fan, theres no way they're giving us Setoguchi for Schultz.

Not interested in trading the 2nd round for a play like DS. The 2nd pick will be useful at the deadline.

Wouldn't mind a guy like DS though. Just think another package is probably a better fit.

True, but certainly better than giving up a hell of a lot more for a guy like Bobby Ryan. Not to mention, GMGM isn't exactly stellar with deadline acquisitions. Arnott was a good one.. But Sturm, Corvo? lol

Huet for a 2nd.
Fedorov for Teddy Ruth.
Wideman for a 3rd + Hauswirth.
Tikkanen for Dwayne Hey.
Not to mention Sturm was a waiver pick up and cost us nothing.

McPhee doesn't seem too bad at the deadline to me.

Schultz is just terrible. No team should want him.

Wild aren't moving Seto and cap space isn't a problem for us with all the money we have coming off the books in the next couple years.

Orlov for Setoguchi is probably much closer for both teams than the proposals being currently lobbed around.

well carlson is a first line Dman, the other one is a prospect. Lets not compare the two.

Is the new CBA going to make us re-sign Backstrom, Cullen and Bouchard?
