It would be nice to see him make some of the ******* on this team cry on 24/7...

Can they just kick the Leafs out of the Winter Classic so they don't disgrace our city in front of 100,000 live?

Probably. I am pretty neutral about Ronnie but the amount of times we turn the puck over cannot get any worse.

Whether you are Pro/Con Wilson, you have to admit this system needs an overhaul. You have to play a hybrid style where you can adapt and change with your opponents, not have the same style over and over and expecting things to change or the opposition to not wake up to what you are trying to pull.

Yes. Not just defensively, but in every single category known to hockey; he would make us better.

Yes, Randy Carlyle would make our team much, much better.

Randy Carlyle would have stopped that first goal.

Randy Carlyle wouldn't have turned it over in front of the net. He also would have made the save.

Can he play net?

OT: I think he would. If his defense works, Komisarek would also at least play like a 3m player instead of the league minimum pylon that he appears to be in a Ron Wilson system. Seriously, anyone can do better than Wilson for THIS team at this moment.

No. He had a better roster in Anaheim and he completely ****ed that up. How is he going to do with a ****tier team?

He lost the team just like Wilson did here. Does it mean he's a bad coach? I don't think so. I'm certain he'd at least be an improvement to what Wilson is doing now. It's like calling Wilson a horrible coach. Is he? I don't think so. It's just that his system doesn't fit our players at all.

Just curious, how do people know wilson has "lost the team"?

I can't say I know or not. Nor have I ever been in the dressing room.

Logic would dictate otherwise. If Wilson has to go, I prefer Eakins to see what the hoopala is about.

Why are we firing Wilson anyways? Reimer completely **** the bed and I don't see anyone asking to waive him.

To be fair, the GM out there Bob Murray has done an awful job. For example, Carlyle took a team whose second line was Christensen-Ebbett-Selanne in 08-09 and got them to the playoffs. Outside of a great #1 line and 1 or 2 good d-men, the Ducks lack depth imo.

I'd love it if we could sell off anything not nailed down long term, bring up youth and bring up Eakins.

Like I said in the GDT, I'm starting to wonder if the team is playing to get Wilson fired.
