I'd like to see them lock down the #6 spot. That gives them the Pacific winner in the first round, so lots of travel and a legitimate chance for an upset, which would mean we'd (assuming we finish first) get them in the second round.

Wow, Philly is a hot mess. That D is atrocious, and Bryz was already struggling.

PS, thanks Chicago, the West remains ours for another day.

Zetterberg really should have put that away at first glance.

EDIT: Nevermind the buzzer had sounded way before then. Didn't have the sound on.

Chicago wins 2-1... another home ice loss for Detroit.

Since Vancouver classlessly snapped their home ice winning streak the Wings are 1w and 3L (including the Canucks win).

"OHL Erie Otter forward Connor Crisp makes 32 saves on 45 shots as Erie's only goalie gets hurt in game today. Loses 13-3 but gets 1st star!"

The dreaded "lower body injury" for Jimmy Howard:

DetroitRedWings Babcock: "Howie's got a lower body injury and left the game. We'll evaluate him and go from there."

Nothing near what the Canucks went through last season using 13 different Dmen and still winning the Presidents' Trophy going away while puttin up the best GF and GA as well as the top PP.

I am getting fed up with players being challenged after legal hits.

That should have been an instigator penalty on Hartnell.

Burrows going around the league unlocking latches on benches? Can't wait for the Maclean expose.

Booth has made me forget about Samulsson so quickly that I can`t even remember how to spell his name anymore.

Does Boston have a good third goalie? It would break my heart if the Bruins had to overuse Thomas down the stretch in order to win their division. The Rangers are a good team I hope.they do not come out of the East either. A good year for a miracle run to the final for Florida or Winnipeg followed by being swept by Vancouver in the final. That is my hope I do not need any drama in the final. Of course beating Chicago on the way as well as Detroit would be great as well. Chicago because well that would never get old and Detroit as a passing of the guard in the west.

I agree, at least Samuelson can shoot and get some rebound/in close goals. And he's not bad on the PP point if needed - he get's shots through pretty consistently.

And he can be a Sedin linemate in a pinch.

Shame we couldn't have kept Samuelson somehow.

Dallas has been turning it up lately. I think Ryder would've been a solid fit in our top 6.

Don't think the Bruins organization would have done any sort of trade with us after the SCF.
