Very physical! I like how Carlyle change up some of the lines and pairings. His system is a lot more structured that RW's was. I can't wait to see how well this team plays once they've had more than one day to assimilate it.
And Dion lowering the boom on Cole was just beautiful!
Grabs getting 2 goals against his former team must make him feel really pumped now.

I'm not crying. I liked what I saw tonight. I'm pissed at Burke for allowing Wilson to ruin these players for so long. There would have been no need to tank if Wilson had been fired earlier.
Now this is a hockey team. One with an actual structure/system. I noticed a LOT less turnovers and odd man rushes against us. And WOW! We actually played the whole 60 minutes! Thank god Wilson is gone.
A lot of positives tonight, not sure we are going to make the playoffs, but watching Carlyle coach tonight gives us hope passionless hockey is over, a new era has dawn.
It's been too long that I've seen this team play a full 60 minutes. I've been going for tank nation, but as someone said before, if this is what we see each game, I won't be disappointed wherever we end up. That being said, I want that pick.
That's the best the team has looked in a long, long time. On the one hand, I have a sinking feeling that we're going to rally, start playing better, but still miss the playoffs, ending up with like a 13th overall pick instead of a 4th overall pick. On the other hand, it's nice to see this team not looking like ass. Not sure how I feel, really.
i really really want something special to happen until the end of a season, i want a great run and catch the playoffs..that`s what a real coach can do..well done randy..
