I'm okay with the team playing 60 minutes and losing, anything less is unacceptable. And chances are, we'll win more than we lose if we play the full 60 minutes.

Great game by the boys. Finally Don Cherry eating his hate for Toronto/Burke after a win. Gotta love it.

18-0....Carlyle for Jack Adams....Stanley Cup....Plan the parade....the usual
Cherry has no hate for the leafs dude, they're his favorite team.

How many minutes did lambo and crabb play? Pretty close to 5min. Finally, a coach who gives ice time to players that actually care. Connolly was actually trying hard for once

Yes, that's what they were. But why? The sports media industry in this country is more bloated than the government.

They get to advertise TSN on CBC, very clever.

Leafs only let in ONE goal.
Leafs play physical (especially Dion and Komi)
Komi doesn't **** up; not even once!
Our coach was engaging with the players, and actually coached!

This doesn't feel like it can be real

Why are people excited that their team won? Because they are not cheering for their team to lose. It's about not giving up when it gets tough

Lupul seemed like he was trying too hard and couldn't really accomplish anything.

Carlyle needs to give him some confidence

Lots of subtle racist tones in this thread towards Subban... Keep it down people... Not cool.

Good first game for coach. Next 3 games are bruins, pens, and flyers. It'll be a tough week.

I'm surprise that Gus only let in one goal tonight after the shaky start.

Phaneuf doesn't pick fights with the weakest person on the team. Phaneuf fights people like Clarkson

This week TSN showed a graphic that showed that Boston is in the bottom 5 in points since the All-Star break.

Nice clean game from the boys tonight!

Phaneuf, Gardiner, and Gunnarsson all looked great.
Frattin playing with confidence, looks like hes done with the AHL
Bozak and Lupul played well, but Kessel looked a bit tentative. I think Carlyle is gunna be on him when it comes to board play in the D-zone, cause its gotta get better

And there is no doubt in my mind, the Monster is the man. I think this a major reason why Burke had had it with Wilson. Burke thought Gus saved the season, and Wilson was looking for any reason to start Reims over him

Where was Toronto on that graphic?

Nah Phaneuf isn't quite as greasy. You're not going to see Phaneuf lay a hay maker on a guy when he's trying to take his helmet off.
