You can basically call this a must win game. Not playing again until Thursday after this game with a back-to back against two better teams will give plenty of room for the Jets, Caps, and now Lightning to catch up if they keep losing and have trouble scoring goals. I actually thought we played well tonight, but Rinne showed why he's arguably one of the Top 5 goaltenders in the league. I couldn't blame Clemmensen for the loss. Sure, he looked shaky, especially on that first Nashville goal, but the second was because of a defensive breakdown, and the third due to a poor line change.

A loss in this one would drop us to around 60% as far as making the playoffs. Amazing how before the Winnipeg game, we were around 90%. It just shows how crucial these games are at this point in the season to show if you're in or out of the race. Lack of offense is killing us. It just sucks that Versteeg is out at the worst time. The team can't have the record against Ottawa over the last few years on their mind. They have to think of it as a fresh start and play with more effort and intensity. Overall, while I thought they played well tonight, they looked too flat for a team hungry to make the playoffs and win their division.

Here's hoping...

LETS GO PANTHERS!!!

Good luck tomorrow, guys.

Rob Klinkhammer has been called up for Ottawa. I think Daugavins will likely sit.

Just win!

This is the first game Thoedore will start against the Sens and the first game Anderson wont be in net! Dont waste this chance and score goals!!!!

But it seems to me like everytime we have a big game, we fail bigtime and lose this game. We had two opportunies to widen the lead on WSH or Winnipeg. We didnt get it done twice in a row with a losing streak

Going to the Devils-Islanders game on the Island today. I will probably miss at least the first period of the Cats, but at least I'll get to see what scoring goals looks like. After today we are off until Thursday, I want nothing held back tonight. NOTHING. I want to see this team go completely ******* on the ice today and light up the scoreboard. Show no mercy to this or any team anymore. Someone in the locker room needs to step up and be the leader and get this job done. Its time to break this streak against the Sens. Nothing less than 2 points today. LETS GO CATS!!!!

First of all I never knew Everclear had covered that song. I hate that song but I love Everclear so I can stand it now thanks.

As for the game they need to shoot the puck and get to the front of the net. There have been alot of rebounds right in the slot the last few games and nobody there to put them in. If I have to watch another game of all our forwards in the corners or behind the net and nobody going to the front of the net I am going to have a stroke. The thing that kills me is these guys will lay out to block a shot on the PK but won't go to the ****ing net.

This is usually the part where my faith starts to waiver, other teams gain ground, and I feel the impending implosion. And then when I'm down to my last curse word, they win. But that could also be next game and not this one. Damn you Panthers! Why do you hate me?

A big part of our success comes from the power play so lets get a couple power play goals today. No Andy should help us too.

Having Lehner in net is the only reason the Sens beat the Bruins and kept it close with the Blackhawks this week, it may actually be worse for the panthers.
