dot dot dot dot ... This just in. After a disastrous game against the Panthers the Senators sent Robin Lehner back to Bingo. Bishop is being recalled to play against Tampa. Lehner who was visibly upset at the turn of events was quoted as saying "This team wouldn't make the AHL playoffs playing like that". "What a bunch of losers". When questioned Senator officials offered a terse "no comment"
The calls weren't going our way, Karlsson, Turris, Alfie, Klink and a few others were skating out there. Spezza looked like he was f--ing the dog out there, as did a lot of the others. Pity Karlsson had to get so frustrated watching his team provide no support for him, then being hooked on the back check on multiple occasions and not getting a pp for our team in the process.
Lmao, this guy's latest posts kill me. Are you watching the ****Ing game or only Karlsson?
Our entire top 6 has been basically INVISIBLE and you go full out on Karlsson? Lmao. Only Leaf fans do that, so calm down there kiddo.
Sure, everyone played terribly for 2/3 of the game, but Karlsson had a nightmare of a 3rd period. He takes two undisciplined, unnecessary penalties and that 4th goal was partially his fault as well; a combination of a bad pinch and getting outmuscled at the net (not to mention his D partner made a bad decision not coming over to challenge Skille).
I have faith he'll get back to his old form quickly, though. He's been dynamite all season for us, no reason to believe he won't be again soon.
Would be nice to see Turris do something worthwhile for once.
What are you even talking about?

Troll spotted. For future reference, subtlety is key.
I didn't get a chance to watch the Chicago game, but from what I can gather it was more of the same. Karlsson looks like he's basking in the light of superstardom. Spezza didn't look that great, but he's a streaky player. It's to be expected.
Klinkhammer was great in the first, but looked gassed for the rest of the game. I wasn't happy when he got called up, but I'm more than satisfied with his performance.
Glad I missed this game tonight, sounds like it was a stinker.
Anyone want to fill me in on the performances of Colonel Klink(hammer)? Lehner? Gilroy? Anyone else I should know about?
I thought Klink had a solid game and a great first period... He was all over the place... on the cycle... In front of the net... was screening on Cowen's goal... I think he led the team in hits(at least in the 1st)
Lehner was ok... First goal was flukey.... Second goal he just got beat on a breakaway... Missed the 3rd... Last goal was just a hard net drive... Skille beat EK
Gilroy was ok as well... A great defensive play to break up a short breakaway... a few meh pinches....
Oh no, our 21 year old defenceman might not win the Norris? What ever will we do.
Lost 3 of the last 5 in regulation. If the sens keep playing the way they have they will miss the playoffs.
Karlsson's slash was exactly what the panthers were driving for, close checking him deep in his own zone, it was effective and Karlsson frustration was showing. His 4 min in penalties really hurt the sens chances of a comeback. He needs to learn to handle that pressure and make a simpler play, he was trying to do too much at times.
Meh, he didn't come through when it counts, and that's what we need right now, the best guys coming through. Alfie-Spezza-Turris-Michalek are the forwards I look to to get it done, and Turris is at the bottom of that heap right now.
It's not to say I don't like him, I do, but he needs to start potting some goals and not hitting posts.
Spezza held off the scoresheet and we lost? Yep, that sounds right.
This. We really need help with our secondary scoring, if Spezza, Karlsson and Alfie have a off night we have no chance. Butler needs to go, Greening needs to stay in the bottom 6, Condra needs to go, Konopka needs to go. Next year:
