Friend of mine said he will buy a Clarkson jersey if he puts up 35 goals this season. Lets get a Clarkson hat trick today just to make my friend sweat a bit.
I'd love to see him hit 30 on the season. I think I might die laughing.
Can someone fill me in on the Bruins/Isles game yesterday? I was working, and didn't see it.
Was the shot quality as high from the Bruins as half the shots on they goal they produced against us? I see Nabokov with 32 saves. Every shot the Bruins took was was high quality in the 1st. Say what you want about Marty, but if he wasn't on his game it would have been Calgary part 2. That was our worst 1st period of the season I'd say. We just made it out down by 2, and not down by 6.
Also the Bruins haven't won back to back games since January 10th/January 12th or something like that? I was shocked to read that on NHL Network.
no, their shots werent nearly as high quality as they were against the devs. nabokov played well, dont get me wrong, but he didnt do anything spectacular. the bruins looked like **** for most of the game aside from a few spurts here and there. that being said, the isles looked like an extremely confident bunch i thought especially over the latter half of the 3rd period.
He should buy YOU a Clarkson jersey if he puts up 35 goals this season.
Aside from the fact I don't want one, just seeing him having to wear it would make it awesome.

My friend probably agreed to this when Clarkson had 5-10 goals this season. Its just baffling. You watch him skate around like a moron, fall down, etc. And then next thing you know, he's throwing the puck on net from a random spot/toe-dragging his face off and suddenly the puck is in the net. Clarktard The fact he may put up 30+ goals this season just leaves me confused...at everything.
Pretty important stretch of games coming up here, could put the Devils in a really good spot for the stretch. Of course all the games are important, but taking 3 out of 4 this week could provide a lot of cushion above the bubble playoff teams.
On a side note, aside from not getting to see any Devils wins on my trip, I had a great time visiting the Prudential Center for the first time and it was great to meet some of the Devils HF faithful. Absolutely gorgeous arena, and I will definitely be back!

I saw the interview and it was said in fun. If you read something later that Zach said then OK. In which case I say hey Zach its that kind of fire this team needs to continue this time of year. Deal
a) I was being sarcastic
b) ESPN didn't say that he was joking on their recap
Pretty crazy that the Islanders are playing us three games in a row. We have the Rangers in between games to split it up, but for the Isles it's Devils-Devils-Devils. Amusing oddity in the schedule.

Haha I laugh everytime Clarkson scores. Me and my dad have a running joke about how he is the best goal scorer on the team; I text him after everytime Clarkie pots one.

Alright thanks for that I appreciate it. The Bruins looked DEADLY when we played them. Had to be very careful the other night. At least we got a point this time~

It will be Martin Brodeur (NJ) vs. Anders Nilsson (NYI) in the nets today. Nilsson's only previous NHL start was 5-0 loss on Nov. 21 at PIT.
