It took me a long time to figure out what a fortnight was.

It all started years ago when some troll decided to brag about spamming up 10,000 posts.

It then became an official OT thread.

Just finished watching the 4 Japanes Ring movies (are there any more?)! I liked Ringu Rasen especially and Ringu 0 Basudei as well. Yukie Nakama who plays Sadako in Ringu 0 is so hot, I was too busy looking at her beauty to be scared from whatever happened

Swamp monster? Ringu 0 is a prequel to Ringu 1 and Sadako is played by this actress:

Oh ok. I haven't seen the Ring in ages and I just remember some swamp monster looking thing would like call you and go "7 daysssssss" and if you didn't show someone else the evil video your tv would spit water and then the thing would come out of a hole in the ground on tv and then kill you.

Movie made no ******* sense. Why not turn the TV off? Why didn't anyone think to shoot the monster? Or hit it with a bat?

Well first off, that's the horrible remake by Hollywood and not the Japanese original. If I were you I'd start by watching the proper movie and then watch the 3 that were made after that

There's no second off

Japanese horror movies are ****ing weird. My ex used to make me watch Japanese films a lot and she made me watch this movie called Audition without telling me anything about it. What the ****, all I have to say....

I was like 16 and my best friend was a big anime fan. Anyway, he was always trying to get me into it (I'm still not a fan, at all) and he had ordered this movie called "Legend of the Overfiends" and so I agreed to watch it.

Holy crap. I still can't figure out wtf to this day.

Ya, idk. Audition is weird because half the movie is like a really nice love story then everything goes to ****... So I'm watching with her thinking "oh yeah, she wants to watch love stories with me so I'm like cuddling with her." Then stuff starts happening, totally turned me off to ever touching her again that night.

My ex made me watch a ****load of Japanese movies in general. What the **** are the Directors on out there.

The one that she made me watch which really stuck out on the what the **** scale was this japanese horror mini movie about (I'm not even joking. I wish I was), a vending machine in the woods which ate people and turned them into soda. A ****ing vending machine. Which ate people and turned them into soda. Think about that. What the hell?

That's pretty weird on the wtf scale, but on a different level from what I'm talking about. Legend of the Overfiends is one of those tentacle **** ones. That is just off the scale bizarre.

Maybe for you and me. But for Japan that's as normal as scrambled eggs for breakfast.
