Who do you reckon will sit next game? I'm thinking Crabb.

Crabb was playing with fire under his ass last night, but I think it's hit or Lombardi. I think the 4th will be Connolly centering Rosie and Crabb, I'm not sure if Brown plays.

That line of Armstrong Steckel and Kulemin remind me of another checking line the leafs used to have. It was made up of a pest, a face off master, and a former scoring winger that would hurt you with his checking along the boards.

Anybody know who I am talking about?

No news on Brown's health today? In the new and much improved Carlyle era I fully expect Rosie to dress on the 4th line if he clears.

I think I read that he had neck stiffness but should be ready to go Tuesday.

Carlyle said the winger had a stiff neck but should be ready for the next game Tuesday night at home against the Boston Bruins.
I also think Rosie cleared.

They weren't too shabby either. I was thinking of Berg, Zezel and Osborne.

yea no wonder all of our d men were either regressing or already were down in the dumps, except gardiner and maybe gunner

i don't think our dmen on paper are half as bad as they've been playing

heck, schenn was better as a rookie

Hopefully:

Lupul-Bozak-Kessel
Mac-Grabo-Frattin
Kulemin-Steckel-Armstrong
Rosehill-Connolly-Brown

Thx for the into Hurt,

Would like to see both Brown and Rosie in, didn't think Lombardi did much last night. He can come out, perhaps Crabb too.

Perhaps:
Bozak, Lupul, Kessel
Grabo, MacArthur, Frattin
Army, Steckle, Kule
Connolly, Brown, Rosie

Good that Carlyle will take the garbage out. Lombardi and Connolly are a waste of cap space.

The new coach will not protect the American players like Wilson did.

Firing Wilson was the best move for the this team!

Any news is Dave Farrish at practice today? He's going to be integral in the development of Gardiner and Schenn, watch these 2 blossom under Dave. Put a stickie on it.

Carlyle is an Ontario boy. No dual citizenship.

Any info about him? What are his strengths as assistant, what was he responsible for in Anaheim etc?

He's excellent, worked with Visnovsky and Fowler last year and both had breakout years, also worked with Beauchemen when he came from Columbus and molded him into a valuable D man when they won the Cup. Between he and Carlyle our young D cannot be in any better hands IMO.

They used to say the same thing when Pat Burns was coach of the Leafs.

Awesome, great to hear and hopefully he can bring out the full potential in Schenn and revitalize Komi.
