Don't worry, he won't be going anywhere and hypothetically if he became a Ranger, you'd be the first member of his fan club.

Ok, I'll go along with that philosophy. I still wish we had him here though.

Ugh no.

I resented brasheur even after he signed with us. If it's true that Lucic spit on our logo then I hope he rots in a ****hole

But deterrents still exist!

Like I said, we can be a team full of goons and it won't stop guys like Lucic. Only way Scott was worth a 5th rounder is if he legitimately grabs Lucic and starts wailing on him.

Temperamentally Lucic isn't far away from Hartnell. He's a sore loser and if he's on the ice in the waning moments of a game his team is losing--very likely he's looking for someone to take his frustration out on.

BTW I would love to have either Lucic or Hartnell on the Rangers but especially Lucic.

What Scott has to with it--I don't know. The above poster I hope isn't advocating that Scott should have been on the ice in the closing moments of a one goal game--with Thomas pulled just to make sure that Lucic would behave? McDonagh pushed back. That's an element of his game that he could raise. He got suckered for it--but still Ryan should be more prepared the next time we play them.

My parents are Romanians from Serbia, and even I can't defend Lucic. He's a Serb ****. If he spit on our logo after what he did, I'll be sure to curse him out in Serbian if I ever see him. Jebem ti mater, Lucic.

No, i'm saying send out Scott next time we play the Bruins and have him break Lucic's teeth into his mouth.

Off course they would (he's a 60 point / 30 goal player). That doesnt mean he isn't a dirty player.

If the Rangers management lept off a skyscraper they'd be dead. What good is Lucic if you are dead?

I think we need to address this matter before discussion can continue.

If they jump off a skyscraper for him, they should wear parachuetes.

Exactly. This should be done the first few minutes of the next game! This is the reason you gave up a 5th rounder.

I understand the bolded part, and I really like Lucic's game (when he plays hockey), but what I don't like and respect, is when he smashed McD's head into the boards from behind. McD is a vital part of our team (top paring D-man), and if ever he were to go down, we'd be in trouble. That is why, you take down his number and make sure he understands that he can't pull that **** again. Enter Scott!

Exactly. What a laughable justification for someone not being dirty. Just because the Rangers would want him that makes him a clean player? My God. What horrible logic. Of course the Rangers would want him. Doesn't make him any less dirty.

You wanna deter Lucic you board Bergeron or Sequin . Then you tell Lucic keep running around and it continues .

The last deterrent we had was Orr, who would get suspended to send a message.

Caps taking liberties with Jagr all game?
