Solid game considering they were missing Callahan. They were sloppy as could be for first two but they came out big in the third. Gaborik looks like he's on a mission, which is great to see. Also, I loved that McD popped Lucic there at the end instead of letting him get away with throwing a few. You don't have to drop the gloves to be a tough team, McD standing up for himself is an example of that. If you, as a team, don't take the business from anybody, the tough guy teams aren't going to bully you effectively.
As much as i hate Boston i have to give them credit for adapting to our play. Dominated the whole second period cause they took away our boards, passing lane, and behind the net offensive play.
Besides that, we got back and huge goal by Stepan and Gaby.
Stealing? Nope. We outplayed them for parts of the first and the majority of the third.

Hope we play Boston in the playoffs, would love nothing more than to send that overrated team with their overrated goaltender to the green.
I wouldn't. I still think Boston is the toughest team in the league to beat in a 7 gamer. Thomas has been weak lately but he was not overrated in the playoffs last year thats for sure

He certainly did this game. I wouldn't say the Rangers own the Bruins. But we certainly make Thomas look pedestrian when he plays against us. If the Bruins are smart they play Rask the last game. Anyways, we win the series.

LOVE the response from the team in the 3rd, after perhaps the worst period of the season in the 2nd. Great rush by DZ and a sick shot by Stepan for the GW goal.
This team just finds ways to win, even if it looks ugly at times during the course of a game.

I agree, not a good game. Rangers benefited heavily from some piss poor goaltending by Thomas. Rangers D needs to get some rest ASAP. We need to retool our bottom 6 I think. Mitchell needs to go. We should call up Deveaux.
Also we need to promote Staal, and move Girardi and McD down a pair. We need to cut down their minutes. They REALLY need rest.
