Getzlaf 0.078 ozone: 47.8%
Perry 0.082 ozone: 49%

Selanne 0.054 ozone: 50%
Koivu 0.057 ozone: 48.3%

Who players line up against does not equate to them matching up against said players.

Last season Carlyle matched Koivu's line against the 1st lines constantly. Besides what's the difference if they are matched or not if they in reality play against them. Let's be reality here.

Edit: Just to be clear, what's your definition of "lining up" and "matching up"

What I'm saying is that Carlyle often pulled lines off the ice if he didn't like who they were out against. They'd be out there for the face-off, but after the puck dropped they'd jump off the ice to get the match-up Carlyle wanted.

Carlyle never seemed to want the Selanne line out there against the opposing team's top line. I can't say that I blame him.

Actually he did... If I have spare time time I'll take a 20 game sample with GCL and get back to you.

After a few e-mails I have confirmation that qualcomp uses actual ice time individual vs individual so matching doesn't screw it up. 1st and 2nd line faced equal competition last year and almost equal this year. Saved me a lot of time

Of course it is.

Is it likely is the real question, and it's not very likely at all.

11-0-1 is slighty more possibly but would 90 points do it?

Don't bet on it.

I see at least 92. And that's being generous.

I just realized, Sexton has a 1-way for next year. Only 550k But I can't imagine him spending any time in the minors.

We'll see if he's still with the team when camp even begins, but I don't see him making the team purely due to money reasons and take a spot over a guy on a 2-way contract that could actually help the team. Budget may be tight, but probably not to that degree.

Beleskey(open)-Getz-Perry
Ryan-Open-Palmieri
Cogs-Bonino(RFA)-DSP
open(Beleskey)-open-parros

Defense
stays the same unless Schultz replaces brookbank(assuming he re-signs)

Those are the players that are under contract. I dont see anyone coming up other than Palmieri. Etem will probably go to the AHL for a year.

We need 2nd line center, potentially first line wing and 4th line depth, preferably center that can win faceoffs (Pahlsson) and play PK

If Koivu leaves, our #1 priority is a center who can win face-offs. Doesn't matter what line they play on as long as they can win a FO

Konopka is a 4th line guy but he's one of the best players at face-offs in the league.

Ollie Jokinen could be a one year bandaid..pretty strong bandaid too like you know those ones with the polysporin in them and the brand name ones

atleast until holland or who ever we draft top 10 develops..and he is a finn so maybe selanne will come back

The top tier Centers available are garbage, I think its Olli Jokinen at te top then a huge dropoff.

But there are a handful of useful bottom 6 centers

I'm pretty sure Jokinen wants 3-4 year contract with NMC/NTC, and I think it's very likely he gets one from Calgary.

The FEL regular season ended today and the top 3 pointsman where:

1. Ryan Lasch 59Games 24Goals 38Assist = 62Points (25 years old, Lake Forest, CA,USA 5'9" 181 lbs)
2. Tomas Zaborsky 52GP 35G 24A = 59 (24, Trencin,Slovakia 5'11" 201 lbs)
3. Eric Perrin 58GP 19G 40A = 59P (36, Laval, Que, Canada 5'9" 176 lbs)

Top scorer was Zaborsky with 35
And top scoring Defensman was Sami Vatanen and he was 2nd in points.

So would Ducks be interested of Lasch or Zaborsky? Perrin is a NHL Veteran.

Elite prospects about Lasch: A diminutive winger, Lasch is a quick skater who always puts in a good work effort. Excels on the powerplay with fine shot and passing game.

About Zaborsky: A natural scorer with great hands and vision, Zaborsky is a pure offensive forward.

and Perrin: A small two-way center who can be used on the wing as well. Is a shifty skater and can play a gritty game.

Ryan Lasch

The Ducks have/had the rights to Zaborsky, im not really sure if we still do or not.

I would doubt we have much interest in anyone on the list. Perron was a bottom 6 guy who couldnt keep an NHL job and Lasch is 5'9 with no NHL experience, seems like a typical lights up the AHL but cant hack it in the NHL type guy.

The Ducks don't have rights to Zaborsky anymore. Heard some rumors of him going to KHL after the season. Wow, didn't realize that Lasch is that small! Although, I really think that people overrate the need for size but I can't Lasch being useful to the Ducks. Maybe in their future AHL team but not in NHL. Perrin had some success back in his NHL days but I think they can find better bottom 6 forwards who are currently playing in the NHL.

Upcoming CBA, uncertain which prospects will play, Brookbank doesn't like BB, Brookbank asking for too much $$, Brookbank doesn't want to be a #7, #6-7 guys don't usually command much interest so they're waiting, Brookbank didn't want contract distractions during the season, who knows?

I think they should bring him back but there's no telling what the team is going to look like next year.

And before some idiot comes in and insists none of that is true those are just plausible reasons, not facts.
