No, he doesn't. But if they offer him starter's money... he might.
P.S. A couple of years ago Habs fans came in here asking for Hall (more precisely, the #1 pick) and offering Halak in return. I told them they were in for a huge disappointment and they got very upset. The they got Lars Eller. I haven't heard from them since. Preds fans have asked for the stars and the moon for Weber, and I've tried to bring them to reality, but I guess they're going to have to find out for themselves. Unfortunately, you're headed down the same road.
That's a good point. Im just sayin... If I was an Edm fan, I would want Schnieds
Nucks should go after Shea Weber. Too bad they don't need a goalie or they would make good trading partners. Maybe Booth, a 1st rounder (which is essentially a 2nd) and a prospect gets you there.
Is our proven 1st not worth something close to one of your 1st's ?
The Canucks traded Cody Hogson (1st) We also traded Micheal Grabner last year (1st). He got 34 goals and won the fastest skater competition that year.
Bwahaha, hilarious. There is no way that Schneider is worth Eberle or Hall. Especially since teams can pick up decent goaltenders for FREE as UFA. For e.g. Tomas Vokoun, Brian Elliot this past summer.
Terrible deal. Terrible idea. As another poster pointed out Halak netted the Canadians Lars Eller. Hall, Eberle, RNH are untouchable. The only chance they would be available would be for a superstar like Crosby. Certainly not for a goalie, any goalie.
You think Hodgson and Grabner are nearly equivalent to any of those players?
They where developed in the same system as Kesler, Burrows and the Sedins. Hodgson and Grabner have better numbers now then Kesler did at the same point in his career. We develop them slow and steady.

Honestly man, appreciate you coming over here and attempting to make a trade proposal but just head back to the Canucks board at this point. Thanks.
I thought Hall was your most coveted player. Remember your first crop of high picks didnt exactly light the league on fire the next year.
Gagner and Cogliano is who im referring to. RNH could easily go that way.

And the Sedins could be 10 points scorers next year, retire and join a monastery, Schneider could be the next Jim Carey or Andrew Raycroft. See what I did there? I find all of those things more likely than RNH being in the same class of player as Gagner and Cogliano. Also if you can't tell the difference between the potential success of a #1 pick vs. a #6 and a # 20 something then you might want to figure that out before offering trade proposals to rival fanbases.

Anyone in agreement on bringing in Ray Whitney on a 1 maybe 2 year deal? He would give us two great top 6 LW add a ton of leadership and would be dynamite with RNH and Ebs. He seems like a perfect player to me.

Yeah it would be great but I'm not sure Whitney would leave the dessert unless of course he had to.
So assuming we have a new coach next season (looks like it), I wonder if we should have a more Penguins type set up.
The Penguins for a lot of Crosby and Malkin's early years had a few tough guys who could play on the roster. Asham, Cooke and Goddard off the top of my head. Engelland (sp?) too IIRC is a fighter.
A guy like Jared Boll of CBJ wouldn't be a bad option. A heavyweight type fighter who can skate and is constantly physical, hitting players.
A bottom six with the setup of:
Smyth-Horcoff-Petrell
Boll-Belanger-Eager
It allows us to have a goon line that isn't a disaster in their own zone. Belanger is good defensively and good at FO's. He can cover for the other two guys.
It allows us to put the goon line out against other teams good players for a bit(not constantly, god no constantly), and not get scored on automatically.
And if we get a coach who allows guys like Eager and Boll to do their thing, we may actually have a line who would respond 'the right way' after some of our kids get hit.
