MacDermid vs. Rupp

Bruins fans have been asking for Lane for a long time & his first game in he fights a beast like Rupp

I would say it was a draw here both got in some good shots, Rupp did have some real hard hits though

gotta give Lane credit for this

same, i have been waiting to see him up with the Bruins and he showed what he's made of. i'd call it either a draw or slight edge to rupp, but Lane held his own and got in some shots. it was a good fight.

more importantly the kid has solid fourth line skill, can kill penalties and hit. would not be surprised if he one day turned into a travis moen or a bigger version of brandon prust. really like him as a player.

Mike Rupp is an underrated toughguy. He kind of grew into the role. good fight.

MacDermid hung in their with a real tough character in Rupp, but Rupp certainly won the fight.

First shift and taking on Rupp takes balls I'm impressed he did well here, slight edge to Rupp but this kid could be something special.
