Can't believe people are bashing the Ice Dogs. They didn't run the score up. If they wanted to run the score up, they would have scored 25 goals. They have 3 lines that would be first's on any team in the league. What were they supposed to do, play their 4th line the whole game. Yes, Strome and Freddie Hamilton were on the ice with 2 minutes to go. They are the Dog's second line. Erie to their credit played hard and the Dogs had to answer. Mind boggling how anyone could lay blame other than on Bassin and Brown. His speech was all warm and fuzzy, but totally bogus. The last time they were in Niagara, they also only dressed one goaltender. Anyone who was at this game would attest that the kids on the Ice Dogs did a great job considering the circumstance they were put in.
