Just got back from the game. Bryz was outstanding. He was awesome in the last period especially. First goal of the game was lame again, but he really bounced back after that big time.

The Voracek hit looked clean in person from where I was sitting(directly across the ice) from the hit. I though Voracek was done with a concussion too because of the way his limbs went stiff after the hit. I don't think Kronwall will be suspended and really shouldn't be. I have to watch the replay a couple more times though to make my final decision.

Jagr hurt again! Ugh!!!!

Giroux was a beast tonight while watching him in person. He went over and got in the face of Kronwall immediately when he stepped on the ice after the Voracek hit. He was physical and was all over. Great to see him playing that way again. Looked confident. Also with Giroux having problems with his wrist, Hartnell didn't do too bad with faceoffs. Actually was surprised he did that well.

The Howe speech and whole ceremony was something special. It was amazing to be in the presence of the one and only MR. Hockey also. The crowd was into the whole ceremony and Howe's speech was amazing. He is a really humbled man and it was great to see him pay homage to two special teams in his life. Great to see nobody will wear the #2 ever again in Flyers history!

He did IMO, yet Cronvall could have avoided the head hit.

Sam Carchidi ‏ @BroadStBull

Voracek was talking and joking after the game.

Not really but it could have been directed towards the officials though someone speculated it was meant for a teammate.

our PP was pathetic tonite.
good game by Bryz, don't like goal #1, but it seems clear he's not getting rattled, Lavy just needs to leave him in

Rinaldo should have jumped Kronwall, since he was gonna get a penalty anyway

lucky bounces for 2 goals, but it's about time

big fan of Kubina / Grossmann

Bryzgalov slammed his stick because he just remembered that he forgot his thermos in a hotel on the western road trip?

If our PP is pathetic... 24 other teams in the leagues must be abysmal...

We only had 2. Detroit had like 5 and couldn't do dick with them.

That first goal was not on bryz, that was one hell of a perfect backhander.

Giroux spotted icing his hand after the game (mentioned in the video): http://www.csnphilly.com/blog/flyers...692&feedID=695

Was he really slashed that hard by Chimera? Not having him take the face-offs is a good way to rest it (keep Schenn on the line and have him do FOs instead of Hartnell), but I'm really hoping this doesn't become an issue.

He was down too early on it, but that was a heck of a backhand.

He recovered nicely.

I thought it was pretty clean. Didn't raise the elbow or leave his feet until contact. It's hockey, sometimes it hurts. JV was trying to secure the puck and looking down at it.

Ridiculous hit by Kronwall, but what can you expect? The league has shown no interest in suspending a guy that routinely targets the head. I'm just glad that Voracek appears to be alright. Either way, we won and the Red Wings are one step closer to another early playoff exit.

I don't go to many games, so it suprised me to see a mass exodus of fans with a stoppage of play with 2 minutes. And then again with 30 seconds left. Come on now, really? The game is in the balance, WTF!
