The usual rule of thumb is Offer Sheet Compensation + mid-round pick. The minimum compensation Lats would return on an offer sheet would be on a $2.5MM contract, which is worth a 2nd, so 2nd + 3rd or 2nd + 4th would be the bottom value. However, it's possible he's viewed as worth over $3.2MM AAV, which would be worth a 1st + 3rd.

I would expect 2nd+ and would be open to that trade pre-draft, but probably not post-draft (as 2013 picks don't do much for me at this point).

Hmmm... 2nd + 3rd in 2012 would be the absolute floor of what I could talk myself into.

My favorite part about every Fletcher interview is when he talks about the time is right to go after elite players...I think he surprises everyone and makes a big move at the Draft.

Its a lock and not rocket science that he will go hard after Suter and Parise but the odds he even gets one is very unlikely.

Hopefully he can somehow get one.
