How about a dos equis theme? Like the commercials.

Maybe " the most interesting team in the world" then add quotes like the ridiculous ones in the commercials.

" he once got 2 assists on his own goal " then a picture of henrik in a white beard"

Or something about burrows slaying a dragon.

And so on.

It even has last year's stanley cup logo since they haven't released the new ones yet. But yeah, anyway, I'll make a few templates once the theme is decided and people like thepuckmonster or anyone else with Photoshop can feel free to use them.

Also, for those making avatars, some tips on getting the size down without sacrificing too much quality:

- The dimensions are 125x125 (non-sponsors), start out making them that size because when you scale down a 500x500 image you're already setting yourself up for problems
- Size limit is 20kb for non-sponsors (most users of the forum)
- Use the posterize filter or adjustment to get the number of colours down without making it looks significantly worse, this is better than just reducing the number of colours straight-up in the "Save for Web" dialog
- Use the "Lossy" setting and feel free to bump it up as much as you need to get the size down to 20kb, usually this will yield better results than reducing the number of colours
- Last resort is reducing the number of colours, actually doesn't save as much size as you would expect (compared to the "Lossy" setting)

Rome - Aquaman, because he's useless and yet he's part of an awesome team.

Schneider has to be Iceman - he's got ice in his veins.

Salo should be Wolverine just because at this point, I'm not sure his bones aren't all made of metal, and somehow, he keeps coming back for more after getting hurt a billion times.

Bieksa could be Mohammed Ali. Maybe not as history oriented, but couldn't you just see Bieksa running around going "I am the greatest" and knocking people out?
