Does Adam Mair count? 1998-1999, playing in the AHL, no NHL contract.... Closest I came.

Toronto is now 5 back of Winnipeg with no more games in hand and 4 teams to beat. They will need to go at least 11-4-0 or 10-4-1 the last 15 to get in. The teams ahead of them project to 88, 87, 86 and 84. They currently have 67 points. TB losing Garon will help them but they would be the easiest team to pass.
Still can't see why Burke didn't go out and get a goalie, the downside of too much job security leads to perpetual mediocrity.

The tank went 1-1-1 last night (Buffalo got 2 points, Leafs got 0, and Carolina got 1 point).
Buffalo's win puts them 10 points above us, so as of right now, I have them eliminated from the tank race.
Tank games tonight..
Islanders win vs. New Jersey
Tampa Bay win vs. Washington
Columbus win vs. L.A.
Anaheim win vs. St Louis
Minnesota win vs. Phoenix
EDMONTON WIN VS. MONTREAL

Washington owns us and we dislike them and want the to miss the playoffs? That`s my motivation for wishing for a Bruins win

To keep the Leafs from tanking. It'll give them enough hope to keep winning.
