You're man enough to admit that he's a 3rd pairing guy. Good, you aren't totally blinded.
Real simple. Both Hunter and OV are not blameless in the Crapitals' struggles. Simply because I'm putting some blame on OV does not mean I'm hyping up Hunter. OV was regressing last year; this was well before Dale Hunter.
They wouldn't even have Hunter if the team and their captain were pulling their weight earlier in the season.
With a partner like Weber/Diaz is that shocking? If he had someone like gorges covering his pinches he would be 2nd pairing easily but I know subban gets that honor.

Gorges isn't going to cover for his coverage and puck battle issues in his own zone.
And even Claude Julien fielded him with McQuaid instead of Chara, even though Chara should be pretty damn good at covering for his partner.
And with Markov slowly coming back, maybe we'll see how much Gorges gets to "improve" Kaberle.

His own zone isnt a big deal it is his pinches that cause the most damage but he is a offensive dman so that is expected and with a well rounded defense he would be paired with a defensive dman. It isn't about "improving" him it is about proper pairings.
Whining about him being overpaid for a million bucks is ridiculous. Like I said go find me another 40-50 point dman and lets compare salary.

I'm glad you're not in charge of building the defense. Second pairing for Kaberle? Really? At best he is a PP specialist. He is absolutely brutal in his own end, both from the physical side and the breakout passes.
Are you comparing him to Subban because it sounds like it? Maybe I misunderstood what you wrote.

Kaberle is more than adequate on a 2nd pair if they had him with a good stay at home guy.

That's ********. He is very bad in his own zone. He is too soft to take a check and looses the puck constantly because of it. His pinches have been costly at times, but he is the worst d-man on the Habs on his own zone with Campoli.
P.N : I'm fully aware that 5 games doesn't make a season/career , I'm just happy to see him producing/confident.
Ya, 6pts.
A.Kost will always be streaky, unless he becomes a 70-80pt player, which I doubt.
I was disappointed management gave up on some players. The Ribs deal didn't make sense to me, neither did the Lats, Laps, O'Byrne (although Bournival is an interesting prospect). But I'm truly disgusted with how they managed the Kost broz.
Completely wasted the chance of having two brothers with a lot of potential play together. It's just retarded. I don't understand it. I don't care how poor their attitude was at some point, they were young kids that were going to gain in maturity.
It was pretty obvious and undeniable that both of them had chemistry when they were completed by Lang. They were our best trio.
I fully expected Martin to both of them along side Plekanec. Instead, he opted to make an ''example'' out of SK, which turned out to be absolutely useless. I'm pretty sure Martin didn't go to Belarus to talk with the Kost broz, but he made the effort to go see Price at his home. Price had just as many attitude problems.
I didn't like Martin's utilization of AK either, but RC, an interim coach, killed AK. But even then, AK had repeatedly said he wants to stay, and for less money.
To me, AK is really the absolute last straw. It was already pretty bad in terms of wasted talent and should have been fixed before, but now it's beyond that. Incredibly pathetic doesn't even do it justice.
How yah feeling Mr. Vezina. Thats now three goals in the 1st. Might want to tune into the game...Bruins are going to go bonkers if one more goal is scored. LOL
And another 5 on 3 lol! They are tearing the **** outta Boston. Attacking Chara and the rest of those idiots on the team and they can't keep their emotions in check.
This team had all the luck last year to win the cup. First they faced the Habs who had multiple injuries, if not for this Habs would of knocked them off. Then the game seven against Tampa with not one penalty favored the Bruins, Tampa would of lit them up if not for the gratitude of the refs in that game 7. Bruins played dirty a guy like Chara almost ends Max's career and not even a suspension but Rome gets kicked out of the Stanley Cup for a borderline hit, that the league called a 1/4 second late. I have seen players hit 2-3 seconds late with never any infractions but Rome gets kicked out for a lot less than what the Bruins got away with.

I agree. Ever since the idea of him being traded came up, I was asking the question: What's the point? Who will be better than him in free agency next year or down the road in their organization? Nobody. It's been a bad year for the Habs so pretty much everyone has looked bad save a smattering of players. That doesn't give you the license to trade away a lot of talent. AK was not part of the problem. He had a good attitude and was not hurting anyone. He's our best offensive prospect in like 17 years or so (draft pick-wise) and was treated like garbage. It's just such an utter disappointment how the Habs organization blows it time and again with their own, homegrown talent. You look around the league and all you see are ex-habs playing well. Andrei will just add to that ever growing list.
