It'll be cool to see what having a goalie who can actually play the puck is like.

I highly doubt that he clears waivers.....we will not see him in a bruins jersey as some other eastern GM will nab him to keep us weak and better their chances in the PO. That is what I would do.

That Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal would pass a chance to make it harder for the Bruins? I agree. It might happen for sure.

Man, this season has gotten really ****ing weird in a hurry.
I really wish Khudo was healthy, I wanted to see him play a bit.

On the plus side, he'll no longer be doing commentery for the NHL network. Man he was brutal, was like watching a train wreck.

I could see Ottawa or Toronto claiming him just to screw with the Bruins.

The Isles don't need a goalie right now.

Poor Kathryn Tappen would have to drag him through the entire show like a dog refusing to walk. Man, that certainly is a plus.

Much like the Rolston situation, Turco was the best of our worst alternatives. Can't be worse than having Hutchinson in the net, but likely not a better solution than Khudobin would've been.

can someone explain the whole waiver process in a situation like this?
the Bruins signed him to a year at minimum, say Burke does claim him in waivers, what happens then?

Also someone posted something on the main board about there being an en exception for goalies in regards to the post season when it comes to waivers?
Under By-Law 28.2 any Goaltender on a teams Reserve List - or in the case of an emergency situation any Goaltender not on another teams Reserve List - are eligible to play in the playoffs even if signed/acquired after the Trade Deadline.

I hate Burke even more, but the Leafs would take on his contract.
I think also that if the Leafs tried to make another move with Marty after that, he would need to be put on waivers again since he played outside North America.
