Bos could have swept the Canucks last year. Every game the Canucks won was by one goal, every time Bos won was by murder.

Agreed. It was the worst.

Whatever this series went to it would be close.

Picked Canucks in 6 for 2 reasons.

1) Can't see TT being god like again.

2) AV would certainly have Luongo on a short leash.

Then why do the Canucks have 154 more hits then the Bruins this season? Why did Vancouver have 183 more hits in last years playoffs?

Canucks were hurt and couldn't generate anything, let alone hit the Bruins consistently anymore, so it made the Bruins just look more physical in the series.

Don't worry it would. Unfortunately clutch and grab hockey is back, and this would benefit the Bruins far too greatly.

Swear to god if I hear one more Nucks fan cry about injuries. You'd think they were the only team ever to lose someone. Right.. the Bruins only 'look more physical.

Yep you got it, the Bruins clutched and graabed their way to 23-8 score line. Just stop, your team was beaten fair and square.

I guarentee I can match up almost, if not all of their players hurt with one of ours. It's Series 4 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Everyone is hurt, tired, or out of sorts. You're going on 100+ games in the season.

I agree, although I don't fault Rome. Maybe the Canucks shouldn't hit, I mean hell Torres almost brought the Blackhawks back into the series with a hit as well, ha.

My comment was referring to the game earlier this season.

I hear you, everyone even in the lineup by the time finals roll around, are playing with some sort of ailment. Funny part to me. Some of the "key" players that they were missing, are the same players that Van fans were trying to run out of town this this season for being "worthless"

Well, I dunno what to tell you guys. Some people like analyzing the game, looking at advanced stats, looking at the impact of injuries, ice time, who flourishes in what role, who falls apart when played too much in the wrong situations, etc, etc, and understand and appreciate the ripple effect even small injuries can have on a lineup.

Other people just like to watch bright sweaters zooming up and down the ice, and scream at the screen whenever they hear a loud noise.

So keep on keepin' on I guess. Maybe they'll blast some NICKELBACK at the next Broons game. And you can have a BEER. And maybe there will be some FIGHTS. Wooo. WOOOOO.

Really? Everyone says you have to lose before you win... hell, Boston had one of the biggest choke jobs of all time vs PHI and they used the motivation of that loss to win the cup

Pens v Wings

Gretzky era Oilers v Islanders

Blackhawks v the 45 yrs prior

ANA (lost in SCF a few yrs before)

CAR (lost in SCF a few yrs before)

All the greats say you have to learn to lose before you learn to win

Canucks have a better chance to win the Cup than the Bruins do, but if it ends up with those 2 in the finals, Boston wins. Luongo will not win a game in Boston.

It's a good thing that we have a great #2 backup who just won a very tight game in BOS earlier this year then

His record in Boston actually isn't bad. We've got Cory even if Luongo struggles anyways.

I'd personally hope for the Bruins to win again. If any fan base has the potential to be more obnoxious after winning it would be Vancouver's. wouldnotwant

Though in reality Vancouver would probably win if it started right now.

Mark my words, he would. As long as the team plays well. Usually as the team goes, so does Luongo. And our team played like ********* in Boston.

Sounds like the same situation the Canucks were in by the end of the SC Finals.

I thought injuries weren't an excuse though?
