8k vs 6k

Ive been playing with the Rbk 6k Datsuyk for a while now and I'm wondering if anyone here has used the 8k and can tell me how much of a difference it is. I broke a 6k at a tourney last year and the skate shop only had 5k's so I tried one and it was awful. Any feedback would be cool and I understand sticks are 'personal preference' but I know I like this pattern and lie so it's more a question of how much more 'pop' the 8k has. Thanks

I've had several 8k's and I liked them. I first had a couple of 10k's, but switched to 8s. I thought the 8s were as good as the 10s performance/cost. The kick was equal, but the kick on the 10 lasted longer of course. The 8 is a durable stick after all and I liked them as I said. The grip was nice too. Sorry for the comparison with the 10k but I don't have the preferences to compare with the 6k.

The 8Ks retailed for about $150 iirc? If so then they were great value at that pricepoint. Same with the $100 6K, both great pricepoint sticks. Up to you if you want to make the jump/
