Bad: execution, lack of jump, Regehr getting beat to the net....... (wasn't his injury a LBI?? which means his push off on the transition had to be affected)

Ugly: So many posters jumping off the cliff when players fail.

Most of us have watched way worse efforts than this one this season. I'm happy they are finally starting to play to their potential ( a little too late I agree).

Finally, as Miller goes, this team goes. Maybe that should be different but that's what we got.
Based on a good portion of what i've seen on this road trip... Miller and the D have been good to outstanding lately, but they can't keep it up forever. This team needs consistent offense. Can we bring briere back in as a coach in the offseason to reteach people how to finish? He seems to do well at that against us Although I agree that some of the issues just stem from this being the end of a long and, as you mentioned, successful road trip

Pierre was right about one thing...in order to win Ryan Miller needed to save at least 32 shots. Well, WPG only had 31 shots on goal. If only they had a like 5 or 6 more shots the Sabres would have won.

Logic, Pierre, how does it ****ing work?

G:
The end of a long, very successful road trip. I'll take it!

B:
The obvious difference between a tired team and a well rested team.
The turnovers.
The VRP line. Vanek and Pommer were particularly bad tonight and all three had a terrible road trip. I hope they get their **** together fast. Come on "leaders" Your team needs you...

U:
Anyone thinking those chants bothered Miller. Really? He's a professional hockey player. He's heard it all before.
Classy? Not particularly, but at least you know their fans care. Unlike at the FN Center, where you can hear a pin drop, win or lose.

Edited to add: The NBC crew is a disgrace. I did not appreciate listening to Pierre lick Wpg's ball sack all night. You would think WPG is in the hunt for 1st in the league instead of fighting for 8th in the east. For a national broadcast, you would think it's okay to have some impartiality. Did Buffalo piss in their wheaties or something?

My only issue with the Jets fans is the same issue I have with every Canadian based team's fans.

The GO, Canadian team, Go chants.

Can't any of you break with this and come up with something different. Or is it the law in Canada to chant this way.

I better put this in here to make sure folks know I'm kidding, a little

Good:
4th line: I love Matt Ellis.
CoHo and Stafford
Sekera and Myers
The Crowd.

going straight to Ugly:
Holy turnovers, batman!
VRP: Split them up already.
Leopold was god-awful!
Pierre: Just shut the **** up.
Ragging on WPG's crowd. Who cares if they are chanting "Miller" or "Silver Medal"...they are having fun. When is the last time you heard the FNC that loud? I'll wait.

I don't think Sulzer lets that third goal occur.

Yeah, Regehr's lack of speed was really taken advantage of there. That said, I don't blame Ruff for putting in Regehr if he was doing better. I mean, they haven't even had a chance for Sulzer to practice with the team, so I'm sure he felt more comfortable with Regehr, even if he wasn't fully 100%.

Yes, I'd still personally find it hilarious because I hate Team USA.

If they had any players that played on that team.. who cares.
If those players were hurt by what fans chanted, they wouldn't be playing in the NHL.

They were not chanting silver medal because we are a US based team, but rather because the player they were going after was the best player on the team that all of those fans were likely cheering against two years ago.
That tournament was probably the highlight of his career and what put him on the map, so I don't think it's that much of a stretch to heckle him about it.

At least they make noise, which can't be said for the cellphone-loving-boring-as-**** crowd at FNC.

If the level of noise in the crowd affects the players, we need new players.

G- Myers and Sek.
EHS getting chances but you gotta bury them.
Being 4 out and 1 game in hand. Gonna have to win next game. Winnipeg goes on road and they're bad on road hopefully it continues.

B- Can't win em all. They looked dead.
VRP- give leino the promotion. I think roy is better defensively anyways.

That goal was on Miller IMO. Regehr kept his man to the outside Miller's gotta be able to make a save on a bad angle shot like that.

I don't care if you find it hilarious or not, it's a respect thing. Whether the players care or not is immaterial. You are disrespecting the American players on your own team by chanting that. Maybe you'll understand when you're older.

No, Regehr let his man cut in on Miller. Miller still probably wants another shot at it, but Regehr did not play that situation well, mostly because he was left behind on it.

Does your hate extend to Miller? To all USA hockey players?

I find your stance on this as comical as you find the chant.

Can someone explain this 4 point game thing to me? Would it have been better for Buffalo to lose against Vancouver and win tonight?

The guy got a step on him I'll give you that, but by the time he got by Regehr he was in close to Miller and at a bad angle, Miller's gotta make that save.
