We need to stop winning so much so we can get out of the 3rd seed and match-up with Vancouver in the 1st round.

What a win. How impressive is this team right now. They'll fall off the tracks eventually but until they do this is amazing.

And how good has Bachs been for us? Perfect calming backup. He's not perfect but wins against NYR, Chicago, and Vancouver while giving Kari rest is soooo big. We'd be utterly screwed with Raycroft still.

What a win for Gaglardi, considering the history with him and Vancouver.

Raycroft seems like such a distant memory now. It's hard to believe we were trying to win with him as our backup.

Turning point of this game: Larsen's goal-line stand? Felt like it could've gone south rapidly otherwise.

If not that then the penalty shot save, or possibly Benn's goal. I mean, we don't score that and everyone is just steaming from Burish's awful flub.

Definitely the PS save and Larsen's save. Either or would have turned the tide of the game monumentally.

^Stars fans should start doing the tomahawk chop (house?)

I'm still pretty mad about Burish actually. I can tolerate him on the 4th line doing his thing. I'm mildly perturbed when he's on the 3rd line. I am terribly vexed when he inhabits the 2nd line for an extended period of time.

Canucks fan here. Just want to say really good team you got over here and really solid game.

2nd consecutive game Canucks given up 5 goals now. Sedins -2 is the main problem we have over here. Our top line is in a big big slump right now. You guys top line sure dominated the game.

Wish we had someone like Jamie Benn or Michael Ryder.

Just beat San Jose now please.

Tonight's performance only reinforces the fact that.....we'll need Morrow back soon. Been playing amazing hockey without him lately, but I'd still rather have Brenden in the top 6 than mister nerf sword.

Hmm, I really have no knowledge about making screen savers to be honest. I guess I could look into it. Of course that's what I was inspired by in the first place.

As much as I don't want Morrow back, I agree. Morrow would've scored on both of the chances Burish failed miserably on.

I hope that Morrow can come back soon and just tear it up. I really hope he's recuperating well.

just imagine if Dallas had started the year with Bachman as the backup. We'd probably be 5 or 6 points ahead of where we are right now and sitting pretty in the playoffs.

They need to bring the same fight they showed in the 3rd to the game on Wednesday against San Jose. If we win that one, Dallas suddenly has the clear inside track to the division title.

Doesn't really matter anymore, but if Souray hadn't hit the post vs Pittsburgh in overtime, we would've broken the franchise record for consecutive wins tonight.

Riberio only took 5 faceoffs tonight? Wow, Gulutzan is really learning how to manage his matchups better, even on the road. I'm assuming he did that by putting the 3rd/2nd line out for draws and switching to the 1st on the fly? AV would then match up the Sedins, which I think Gulutzan was OK with considering they ended -3 on the night.

i think this is the biggest change since we got out of our slump... he was doing hardly any line matching beforehand aside from protecting the 4th line like hell, now he is matching lines effectively and the results are good

The Ticket guys are talking about how Vancouver got their butts handed to them on the line matching front.
