Again?

Is becoming a common theme that whenever Dallas beats someone, they immediately run and say it was their worst game of the season.

The same thing happened on a geek forum I post on, they immediately post how terrible the game was. I guess I didn't watch the same game, Canucks looked solid to me, it was still anyone's game until we got up 4-2 imo.

Souray too. I was wondering how many + he had, because he was almost the first guy who has complimented to the goal scorer.

What a great teammate, what a night..

Last year we were swept by Flames and Nucks and now we are 2 victories in front against both.

I want some another seafood, get the Sharks!

Couldn't stay up last night, it was a 5 AM start here.. Now all is well. Saw the highlights, Ribs was just lethal on the counters hopefully he'll start to shoot more in the future. Loui will have to be converted to some freak religous program which doesn't aloud condoms..

I love that guy. He's a competitor but he doesn't seem to take himself or the pro sports life too seriously.

Robidas has not played as poorly as people around here make it seem since about December.

He's been noticeably NOT getting destroyed lately. Souray has been pretty good too... guess they just needed to get back into the swing of things.

In other news, steaks.

Meh. I didn't think Robidas/Souray were particularly good at all. +/- is worthless. That pairing was running around out of position all night, sometimes it barely looked like they had any structure or understanding of who had who. Robidas didn't actively embarrass himself though, I'll give him that.

Game was mainly about Fistric being a beast.

did he have a couple huge hits, or just an all around tight game?

Also someone fill me in on the steaks.

He was OK tonight, but people forget he was absolutely brutal in Calgary and Edmonton. The guy just finds ways to take himself out of the play.

Gaglardi served the team tomahawk steaks the night before the game at his house. Ralph and Razor product placed it about 30 times last night.

Do not agree at all, Souray seemed to always be breaking up the Canucks' play last night. He seemed to have one of his best games last night.

Team, coaches, Ralph/Razor. Looked like Heika was even there.

Rhadigan was doing a couple pieces on Gaglardi for FSSW so he was there as well.

They stayed in his hotel as well.

Robidas has been crappy all year, even recently. Souray seems to have picked up his game over the last couple weeks though.

Fistric and Daley have been our best pair on D.

I have been impressed recently with both of them. Not so much as they're standing out, but that they're just not as noticeable, which is a big improvement over the start of the season.

Also, has anyone else noticed how many penalties we seem to be taking (obviously, the # is still high but a lot of them are BS calls) without Morrow? It seems to be quite a bit less.
