We have a better future than Montreal prospect-wise. Although, their fan-base is and arena are hard to top.
New York has Tavares and a very deep prospect pool, but ownership and management has a terrible track record.
Most importantly, you think Granlund wants to soil his reputation just to get on an (arguable at best) "better" team? That would put his character into question, which hurts
his chances for success even more than the Wild's.
Minnesota has many people with Finnish ancestry, plus, M. Koivu is a Finnish national hero. Why wouldn't he want to play for the Wild?
