Would be really cool if Sutton accidentally annihilated a ref in the corner.

Can we just try for one game playing Smid and Petry for 40 minutes just to see what happens?

I don't listen to Stauffer/630 CHED.

Your accusations, they are false.

It already scares me that Petry is playing 25 minutes during some nights... but what the heck. Give it a whirl.

Neither do I.

That's the third or fourth post from him tonight telling us to stop listening to Stauffer though, so I guess we are wrong.

They're getting eaten alive out there folks....that's what I'll be saying. Hey do you guys remember the time when the oil would be picking it up around this time of year and winning most of their games just to make 8th place? I actually miss those days.

I forget what the make-up of an 8th place hockey team looks like.

Agreed . Its not like the Ducks had five or six PP chances last night . And calls were missed going both ways ... for example the mugging Potter (or was it Sutton) put on Cogliano was at least as bad as the non call on Hemsky .

Yeah really weird. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if Columbus passed us.

The fact that we went almost 7 full periods without a PP is utterly retarded.
last night there were 3 calls, two against the Oilers and once against the ducks
in Dallas there were just 2 calls for 4 minutes

fans are blowing it out of reality

if the Ducks had 10 pp then I could see the argument--but there were 2

Do I even want to watch this game?

I have a bad feeling my blood pressure will end up at critical levels if I see anymore BS.

We're 11th in power play opportunities and 2nd in PP goals. I wish I could find a website that could show me what those stats looked like 30 games ago.

This GDT is hard-luck funny

We've had a bad patch with officials, but damn, you guys get nailed. Hope to see a good game with no injuries (crunch time is scary).

Auger scares me. He's got immense potential.

I hope they are gentle.

Then blatant stuff like Nuge getting hooked or whacked on his hands with a wide open net a game or two ago not being called. As well as Hall and Eberle getting piggybacked or TACKLED and no call.

I understand that refs make mistakes, but some stuff that has been going on during games is so ridiculous you can't ignore it.

And then the reffing actually gets worse when our players/coaches complain about it? That's not good.
Completely agree. The chincy little stuff I can live with, but all the big crap that isn't called is just BS.

I really don't think you're in a position to judge without watching the games. Looking at penalties called and judging from that is like judging a player on +/- in a vacuum.
