Yeah that was brutal.
Sorry I meant even though I know we have not lost all the games against Chicago this year, seems like they had been getting the better of us.

Any Blues loss now seems to = "we played horrible."

The Blues totally dominated the first period in Chicago and played the second even. It was the third that Chicago made a push and the Blues had no answer. But it's not like before Backes kicked the puck in and the empty netter people were saying it was a horrible game. If one of their guys kicks a puck in late in the third, nobody's saying "we played horrible" "that was brutal" etc.

By no means was it one of the Blues' best games but does everything have to be so extreme when it's not?

which means we'll probably win 1-0 in a shootout just to add fuel to the fire

That's exciting hockey!

I'd rather see a 1-0 hockey game, than a 7-6 game. Same as baseball, a low scoring pitchers dual is better than a slugfest.

This would actually be hilarious! Trolling hardcore by the entire blues team.

If the Blues bring their "A" game, they will win. If they bring their "B" game, they will lose. It's that simple. The Blues are a better team than the Hawks. The Blues are bigger, stronger, more physical, play better D, deeper, and most importantly, have WAY better goal tending.

No Toews and Hjalmarsson hurts them. Really love the way the Blues' PP has been trending. If they go on a 7-for-24 run on that they'll be middle of the pack for the season, which would represent a remarkable turnaround. PK has moved up to 9th overall, 4th in the West and best in the Central. Hawks' PK is terrible.

This will be tough, but I have a good feeling about this one.

The 'Hawks got a win against us in their first home game back after a long road trip so let's do the same against them, eh?

Wasnt that around the time they were having the flu?

Blues have more talent than the Hawks, just more spread out with no peaks or valleys, its more of a plateau... except for Pietro. Id take him over anyone on the Hawks.
