Maybe a little off topic but there is alot of beer talk in here.
Has anyone tasted yellowhead premium lager?? If so where did you do it. A friend of mine mentioned it because he knows the owners and i'm curious about trying it.
There is a beer thread on HF that gets bumped up every once in a while. A lot of good information in there too. Check it out and and fee free to give your opinions and suggestions:

I've had Yellowhead on tap @ Latzia's and at Blue Plate Diner. Soooo good. I haven't found it in any of the liquor stores I go to yet, but I haven't tried Sherbrooke.

I heard they only do draught no bottling yet at least. And that's good to know ill probly got to Latzia's this weekend then.
I feel bad for the OP, some losers who think they are the beer authorities of the world came in here and hijacked the thread... How about the topic? If you hate bars why are you commenting in a thread about bars to go to post-game. Unless you intend on inviting him and his friends to your basement to share your awesome superior-being beer, what's the point of saying all this?

And thanks Reimer, some good reads.
Hey no problem.
As for Yellowhead you can definitely get it in a bottle. Before Christmas I went to the brewery and purchased 12 bottles and got their pint glass for free. If you bring them all 12 empty bottles back they will give you another bottle for free.
As for stores that carry it, I've purchased it at Sherbrooke and I've see it at Keg & Cork on 99th street just north of 34th ave. They only sell them right now in single bottles but I believe they are gearing up to sell them in 4 packs. Kind of seems odd but the bottles are 500ml so a 4-pack of Yellowhead is equivalent to a six-pack of any other beer(volume wise)

Sorry for being a loser and beer authority in your eyes sir.
I wouldn't wear that get up though if you got a Big Rock in hand.
Saying "traditional" with a fake british accent sounds quite proper, but it makes me fart out the tune of "god save the queen" when I order a velvet fog that way.

And now it's being hijacked by losers who think that they needs to be a white knights.
This thread is remeniscent for me of how it seems the pretentious like the worst movie ever "Tree of Life".
They think liking it (or saying they do) makes themselves look smart.
I liked Tree of Life, and the last thing on my mind was looking smart. Calling people pretentious for liking certain works of art seems like the fool proof fallback nowadays.
