The last 10 mins Leafs played so crap.. they have to control the possession in the offensive zone more.

With Wilson it would be 3-1 by now...Leafs are learning to actually clear the puck instead of just passing it through the middle or to a covered man causing turnovers and scoring chances.

Strong start but a weak second half. Team really looked panicked after that goal. Hopefully they can get back to short, quick passes and finishing their checks. This team really is terrible at winning puck battles.

stupid bounce, and unfortunate play and shift by Liles.

i'm really not impressed with Liles in general. he's just been ok.

Because good teams get those.

We need the Sens (0-0 with TB) and Canes (down 1-0 to Caps) to win tonight.

And us of course.

Hopefully it goes well.

they weren't even that good at clearing the puck this period at all.

i watch a lot of other teams and Toronto in one of the worst for clearing pucks out. hopefully that will improve.

Well, sometimes clearings realize that they're attracted to other clearings, as opposed to the "normal" attraction to rushing the puck. This is becoming a more and more accepted aspect of hockey society, with many pushing for equal rights and acceptance of these clearings.

Schenn and Komisarek have a problem playing in Toronto maybe?

Desjardins estimates that about 40% of the game is captured by Corsi analysis.

We're really clogging up the neutral zone forcing the B's to dump it in, which is good because usually our D are being burned to the outside with all of the rushes we used to give up.

A 1-1 game feels safer now then before, we are learning to be patient. Also good to see Rosie get mins, not being marginalized under caryle.

Loving the Bruins stream. They're so bang on about how **** our 1st line is playing. Absolutely horrendous defensive coverage with no physicality whatsoever, letting the Bruins just skate around in our zone.

wouldn't be surprised if Kessel doesn't notch an ES goal the rest of the season

Defense wins, so Leafs move to a modified trap conservative game, and competitiveness goes up.

Who would of thunk?

About damn time we play a system that relies on defense.

Idc about entertainment ---- winning is entertaining.
