Really hard to understand why Mike Knuble is sitting in favor of Keith Aucoin.

Yes! Brouwer!!! I love the Caps.

Brouwer is a good, honest hockey player. Not great hands but 20 goals on this team is no mean feat.

I still can't believe a ref or refs have warned him to tone it down. You couldnt make this stuff up a month ago.

Hes been great if you ask me. The problem is actually is getting the puck behind the goalie, he seems to always run out of room.

He had a nice rush and shot as I hit post, naturally.

Yeah, it was terrible coaching. Boudreau underestimated how hard it is to win in the playoffs. MP was a no-brainer in MTL. I didn't trust Theo either but I can see your point. Varly can't play every game, anyway. And, again...Tyler Sloan. ? NHL Playoff game?

MP in Montreal for game 6 after getting stonewalled in game 5 seemed wise. Sit his buddy Flash that I am sure did nothing in that series. Maybe Theo was best tried in game 7. I had my doubts about Theo, but after the clear seasons backup loses 2 in a row, why not try a change.

I guess Bruce does deserve credit for yanking Theo, but even that in the end, didnt work.

That third one is the one I was worried about. Brouwer you know what you're getting and Beagle has been playing his ass off. Hendricks seemed redundant and has not been even good lately. Maybe paired with Wideman/Orlov works but good for 2/3 of the line getting it done.

Our good buddy Gonchar scored against Tampa. I have a feeling that run away Norris winner Karlsson will **** it up though.

I think the Capitals try five hole too much, just cause Neuvirth and Vokoun have huge five holes, doesn't mean every other goalie does.

What was that weird thing Beagle did when he got, what's the phrase, "body position" and "drove the net"? Is he allowed to do that?
