Did you know it ALWAYS snows in Edmonton this time of the year? My buddy's birthday is April 15th, and for the last 10 years or so, there has been snowfall around this date. Even if we had summer weather the week before.. Fun facts hey.

Theres strange variations in the weather happening. Although the temperature is warmer in recent decades in general, I remember several years where this time of year was allready shorts and shirt weather. Where as kids we'd be out on the bikes a lot already. Even as recently as the 80's seemed like we had much nicer Aprils.
I don't remember a lot of Easters building snowmen. January and February used to be brutal here. Seems like now the tradeoff is somehow that spring is more unseasonable.

It feels like there's been a shift of one month. It always snowed around Halloween every year. Now there's rarely snow until December hits.
I remember as a child that spring breaks were actually spring breaks, snow already gone, chilling with other kids outside during spring break. Now, as an adult, there's still enough snow that you go snowboarding during the spring break.. Even back then, we'd have all those April showers that made the grass super green.
I for one am glad it wasn't a cold winter. It was nice not to see -30C degree weather for a week straight. haha.

Yep, good observation as well. Seems like a shift has occurred. Some halloweens now are positively balmy and Aprils aren't. We're definitely getting much longer falls.

Yes, my nephew has an April 19 birthday and they are always white bdays.
