I think that Cole is now feeling Eller’s breath in his neck (it’s a matter of time until Eller locks himself a spot on 3rd) but the team is winning so I would not change two lines because of Gallagher’s injury.

Dumont is doing well and I think he plays a similar game (energy, drives the net hard...) than Gallagher no?

1. Bourque – Plekanec – Gionta
2. Pacioretty – Desharnais – Dumont
3. Prust – Galchenyuk – Cole
4. Moen – Eller – Armstrong

Btw 2. Paciorrety - Desharnais - Gallagher was a very solid #2 line; this injury sucks big time. Gallagher is already one of my favourite players; I hope it's a "mild" concussion.

Concussions are a *****. You could be hit by a train and not get one, but have a horrible one by slipping on the ice in your driveway.

Not the greatest comparison.

He's right. If you get hit by a train you won't necessarily have a concussion. But you will have a severe case of "brains being splattered into a million pieces-like symptoms"

There isn't Gally's first concussion! Schenn is such a SOB!

If we had a guy like John Scott, at least Schenn will think twice about hitting our midgets next game.

So if we had John Scott, other teams wouldn't finish their checks? Not too sure about that.

Yeah but then again if we had guys like John Scott we'd be losing games because of their inability to actually play hockey. I'm all for a heavyweight, but the guy has to be able to contribute when he isn't fighting. Players like that are few and far between.

Yeah, I have to disagree that having Scott on the bench would prevent defensemen from hitting our forwards, even next game. Besides, Schenn would not have fought Scott.

He's doesn't have mind control.....right? Right? Wait...does he have mind control? If so, he might be able to prevent the opposition from hitting our players.

That would be a major slap in Eller's face.

His mere presence contributes, don't you see that?

Never mind......

Pacioretty will be playing tommorow.

Ryan White will be in for Gallagher.

It will probably result in the re-uniting of Desharnais, Cole and Patch's
which should be interesting after the wake up call they all recieved.

Gallagher will be back soon.

We have enough to defenseman to spare two (subban, yemelin) for a game or so.

go habs. White is back. don't step on the logo. or look him in the eye's or he.... will... fight you.

Hate you et le but

Chara, Thornton and Lucic sure prevented Savard and Horton from getting their brains scrambled!

Agreed. He was punished based on his play, he should be rewarded based on his play too. If they called up an AHLer and instantly gave them top 6 minutes while Eller is stuck on the fourth line I wouldn't be surprised id he asked for a trade.

Our situation kind of reminds of the Shark's after they drafted Falloon. Everyone in the league tried to destroy that kid once they figured out he was their only threat. Not sure if the Shark's have ever retired a jersy, but if they do? Falloon better be up there. Just my .02

As long as the team is winning, I am willing to slap every player in the face!

That said, Eller is currently helping the team a lot so I would not (Dumont, similar play than Gallagher, with Desharnais and Pacioretty) see it as a slap to the face.

Like in 08-09, when Laraque's presence kept our best players from getting hit. Hmmm... or maybe players like Schenn who get to the NHL because of their physical play will keep hitting no matter what.

I wouldn't have a problem with Eller playing on DD's line...
But at RW? Not sure it's the best idea.
