1 win and a tired goalie who loses his next 3 now possibly 4 starts. You win the battle but lose the war.

Haha, OEL lacking confidence in his forwards. Skates around two Jackets players and gets a shot off. He should do that more often.

Wow, was February just an aberration?

Actually, I thought the team played well last night. It doesn't usually lose when it plays well, which is a shame. But the other March games to date have been real stinkers. They need to get this out of their systems now.

It's like this team blew its wad just to finish out Feburary and now has nothing left in the tank.

Nice work on that Vermette goal.

Maybe Smith blew his wad just to finish Feb undefeated? Maybe player of the month has adverse affects...goalies are head cases in the worst way

Ironic...the night Doan got his hat trick, I had just turned to my son and said "you know who I haven't seen score in a while? Doan!" And about 2 seconds later he scored.

Same thing happened a couple of games ago, only with Vrbata. Now it's sort of our joke.

So...I will say it right now - you know who I haven't seen score in a while? Shane Doan. Or Raffi Torres. Or Radim Vrbata. Heck, the way they've been playing I haven't seen any of them score in a while.

But hey, a Vermette hat trick would be pretty awesome. I haven't seen him score in a while.

If we lose the season series to the Columbus Blue Jackets, we might as well lock up the Playoff Push thread.

Well yeah... the more he bags on this team, the more chance they have of doing better apparently. Can't have that, now can we.

Their interviewer's better looking than ours, though.

and how is sitting on a goalie's head not interference?
