Slap Shot: Excellent
Skating: Adequate
Defensive Positioning: Excellent
Durability: Nope
Other Skills: Getting Ex Back
Just wondering about each individual's skill level in various aspects of the game.
If you wouldn't mind posting:
Player Name
Skill : Skill Level
ex.
Henrik Sedin
Passing: Excellent
Wrist Shot: Good
Slap Shot: Who cares
Skating: Average
(just an example)
Just to get an idea of each player's skills.
Your missing hockey sense in which Henrik has generational talent. It's better than Daniels while Daniel is a bit of a better skater and a lot better at shooting.
LOL Raymond is not a better skater than Booth or Kesler. Speed isn't everything in skating. You have to be strong on your skates which Raymond doesn't have. I'd also put Ballard in the great category.

The category I put was speed not skating, and Ballard IS in the great category. I factored in being strong on your skates/balance for the strength category instead.

Yeah, I changed it to "defense" instead of awareness-- Sedins have been really bad at times, even though we've seen them be fantastic defensively before.

This would be interesting to read, like in Consumer Reports when they grade the different parts of the car. But it would take a long time to do this, and milliseconds for the next poster to rip it apart.
I do however think that this is exactly what professional scouts and video game programmers have to do in order to give their ratings a semblance of science.
Nice post Shareefruck. I like that you included hockey sense. Such an under-appreciated attribute in players yet probably the most important of all. Personally I think you're underrating Weise a little here as I do think he's shown some smarts out there - not blatantly obvious but it's there.
In the immortal words of Cory Schneider: A little bit of Jannik Hansen?
