Schenn on Phantoms' Clear Day List?

I know in the Wellwood Recall thread there was some discussion around what could and couldn't happen with listing Wellwood on the AHL Clear Day list.

Well it turns out they could list him and Gustafsson while they are up with the Flyers.

One interesting thing I saw when the lists were announced today however, Brayden Schenn is listed? I'm really not sure why. Why Schenn over some of the Phantom's forwards that were left off?

It's precautionary, just in case the Phantoms season lasts longer than the Flyers season (yikes). Schenn would be the biggest benefit to a Phantoms playoff run.

But what do they do in the meantime? Already without Wellwood. They may lose more with the further injuries tonight. Seems to me it makes more sense to play for the now rather than the later. It's only a 22 person list.

I'm not really sure why. There was an article about the transaction a couple days ago though, basically saying the organization wanted Schenn to be eligible for the Phantoms playoffs.
