Greening VS Aulie

People will like this one...spirited tilt, Aulie filled him in IMO.

Didn't know he could scrap like that...he should definitely keep at it. Dude was throwing down some massive bombs...lots of visor shots on both sides though, going to be some sore hands on those two.

Aulie's actually really good with the mits dropped. Could eventually be a pretty good heavyweight. Has reach and strength to his advantage. This makes me kind of sad we traded him.

Worst part of moving Aulie is the loss of the epic Muhammed Aulie nickname.

Glad he is on Tampa now. Someone who can fight on the team. Not a replacement for Downie, but will do in the fighting department.

Good to see Aulie beating down on some Sens.

I met the guy once. He's a really cool kid and will be a great defencemen for years to come. Nice to see he's still wearing blue and white too.

Greening got wrecked. Aulie will always be one of my favourite "temporary Leafs", good kid and a good player, stands up for his teammates. He's won all of his fights (only 3, but still) quite decisively. Knocked down Hartnell and Ryan Carter in previous bouts, and had some good AHL scraps too. Tough kid.

Great fight think both of them deff got more visor than face. Give aulie the victory but deff not as one sided as homer leaf fans think.

I wouldn't say 'wrecked' and it was actually pretty close. But he still won.

Even better was the penalty Aulie took on this fight where the Sens put away the game and could have very well be the difference between Tampa making the playoffs and missing out. Pretty costly fight for Aulie considering Tampa had all the momentum going for them and were all over the Sens.

Aulie won the fight for sure but it cost his team in a big way because of a clean hit Greening threw. Aulie 1-Greening 0. Sens 7-Lighting -3 (even though it was really a 5-3 games).

Roloson sucking cost them that game.

Maybe... point was at that point in the game Aulie going after Greening for basically no reason other than he got hammered into the boards cleanly, was a dumb mistake. He wasn't defending a teammate or going after someone who took a cheap shot, it was a selfish play/reaction. Sens got the PP, scored, the lightning never really recovered.

Pretty simple.

Absolutely. I was yelling for the Sens to score on that PP and when they did, I can't imagine Aulie didn't get in **** from Boucher.

Aulie's an unreal fighter.

Going to miss him in Toronto. He ALWAYS sticks up for teammates.
