Funny to encounter so many people who take the guy's word as gospel. Guess that's what a personality and national coverage can do for you.

Hard fought loss today.

The saddest part is I doubt only but the fewest ever sat and thought "Hey, there aren't enough Ontario boys on this team!" before Cherry's rant. Now, suddenly Cherry's a genius and everyone is agreeing with him. No one cared before Don's rant because there were still PLENTY OF CANADIAN PLAYERS ON THE TEAM.

He did get 16 wins in his first 3 seasons as GM of Missisauga and then 11 in the 4th as coach. Perfect for tank nation.

i think andys main job is to 1. apologize for the teams lack of success and 2. babysit drunken depressed leaf fans after the game.

LOL and btw,Kessel scored 36 goals and 60 points when he was 21.
sequin has 55, now 20. next year we will have to wait at 21, i'd say 90 points
then if we had sequin we could of went out and signed a winger for 5.4 mil or more.
but with kessel at 5.4mil, we need a center at 7.5 mil. not going to happen.
trade kessel ++ for nash++

grabo -nash next year.

I agree! We should have drafted Craig Simpson instead of Wendel Clark dammit!!

I think this loss can be attributed to Armsling's nose.

Win games and the problem goes away. Sure it's fickle but I'm not sure why it bother's you so much.

at least the high light of the game was when connolly judo-wned marchand.

that was the coolest thing timmy has done in a leafs uniform.

I wonder why I got infractions for saying some silly stuff, but people don't get anything for being nationalistic?
Can one of the mods respond to this?

I hate the way we played, no speed, no forechecking, almost a trap. This team was built for up tempo, pressure hockey, we're in for a total retool if this is our game now.

Another infraction incoming

Please don't talk about infractions in open, that might lead to another. One of Hf policies I think. Just my 2 cents.

I do, I just don't give a crap if they're born in Sweden, Calgary or New York.

Looking back, I don't see what the free agency frenzy was the surrounded Brad Richards last summer - he's from PEI, so guy is clearly a bum.

....and decided to give a 16 year-old rookie defenseman named Blake Orr jersey number 4, and thus ruined his hockey career.

Really?

I'd still like an answer to my question. Nationalism is offensive. I wasn't born in Canada, and I don't find reading this garbage pleasing at all.
