Jordon Caron leads the Bruins as they continue thier mastery of the Maple Leafs

Not so long ago, the Maple Leafs were the class of the NHL. I am not talking about the late 60's, or 1993 either. They lead the league over the first month of the season.

How the sucky have fallen.

Honestly, If your team is in an offensive slump, earmark the next time they are in Toronto. They will probably snap out of it.

Jordan Caron has seemingly arrived. It is amazing what a little confidence can do for you in sports. 2 Goals and an assist and 5 points in his last 2 games. Go Kid!

Timmy, OH Timmy? You realize that no one else on this roster can step in and stop a beachball, Turco or no Turco?? Get your head out of the Republican Primary race and back in the game.

Bottom line, 2 points when needed, so that is good. Go Bruins!? Yeah! GO BRUINS!

Props to Caron... kid has looked very good these past couple of games. If he keeps it up I wouldn't mind seeing him moved up with Bergy and Marchand to see if he can mesh with Bergeron again.

Hopefully he's following along in Marchand's footsteps and what we're seeing is his on switch getting hit.

That said, Bruins shouldn't have struggled as badly as they did against the Leafs. That team was disjointed and confused. Not sure what's been going on with Timmy, maybe it has something to do with the complete disregard Corvo has for defense, I don't know. Hopefully the B's fix it sooner rather then later. Scratch Corvo, play Mottau. See how that works.

Caron is stepping up big time. Major props to the kid.

MacDermid looks good on the 4th line. I don't even miss Paille.

Once again this game would have been put away if we could bury our PP chances. SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE, GOOD LORD. I'm convinced our pp coach is dating someone's daughter because this is laughable.

it's frustrating that such a one-sided game against such a terrible team still ends by a one goal margin

maybe I'm just being a debbie downer though

It wouldn't have been that close if the refs didn't give the leafs 2 weak PP's that lead to goals or if Lucic could score on an empty net.

Feel the same. Combine the reffing with some bad D and BAM, you got yourself a near-upset

Hopefully Caron can keep proving me wrong. Would love for him to outplay Pouliot and hopefully roll with a Caron-Kelly-Peverley third line if Horton and Pevs come back healthy. Keep Pouliot as the 13th and we should be all set.

I thought MacDermid looked pretty good on 4th line again. Led the team in hits tonight and was a demon along the boards. It would be great if he could stick with the big club next year and learn the ropes of being an NHL tough guy for a full season being around a guy like Thornton.

Really ugly game but I'm glad the Bruins got the W. And if Looch hadn't muffed all those empty net shots he had the game never would have been in reach for the Leafs at the end.

Defensively this team still has huge holes. Zanon is awful out there. No idea why Claude is pairing him with Corvo of all people.

Offensively they looked really good out there, but still want to see more from Marchand and Bergeron. Wouldn't be a bad idea right now to put Caron with those two now that he's finally looking like an NHL player again.

He is a lot faster than I figured he would be. He seems to have some nice hands too. Not just a mindless heavy hitting goon. I really like his game.

Also.. Seidenberg's fight was amazing. That German has some panzerfists!

Same here. The kid has a lot of heart and isn't a cement head. Kinda like a younger Thornton.

I wouldn't mind a 4th line next year of him, Campbell and Thornton.

Leafs are playing desperate hockey right now, it's dangerous playing a team in that state.
All said, a good game by the B's, fought adversity, TT shut the door when it counted, good offence, take the two points and bring on the Sabres!

I didn't find Zanon awful at all. But I agree he's one of our weaker defensemen and I cringed when I saw him with Corvo
