Much MUCH needed win. I didn't care how they did it. Just so long as they got the 2 friggin' points. Now the Devils need to continue to get 2 points the rest of the way to ASSURE of a Playoff spot(I don't care where).
The Devils pretty much outplayed the Rags the entire game. It was a good clean win.

Only complaint if I was looking to complain (I can't go 85 to full stop in one game, come on now) is that I'd like to see Larsson regain some form. Not that he was bad. Just not as noticeable before his injury. I wonder if he's still feeling it.

I think he was heard crying from the locker room about how he couldn't go out and face the cameras 'cause his "dashing good looks" were forever ruined.

They said he hurt his hand. Don't you have to actually throw a punch to hurt your hand?

Almost makes me want to switch off of the Devils' feed.
But I can watch it off the Rangers website later. Right about now he's usually passively and cryptically throwing his Defense under the bus.

Lundqvist was their best player. Hagelin who has given the Devils problems was completely shut down tonight. They learned a lot from last game.

Maruk was drafted by the California Golden Seals and moved with them after his rookie season to Cleveland (Barons). He was traded to the North Stars for two games and then to the inaugural Washington Capitals where he played for five seasons before returning to the North Stars for five seasons plus six games in his last season and five games with the Kalamazoo Wings of the IHL.
Hadfield played 13 seasons for NYR and finished the last three seasons of his career with Penguins in 1977.

Marty's a product of the system, brah. King Henry doesn't need a good defense, brah.
