Did I date myself with my list? My dad took me to my first Whalers game in 1974 at The Big E in Springfield, Mass. Got an autograph from Al Karlander, who was out with a broken foot. I think I need to add him to the honorable mention section.

I would never put Shanny on my favorite list... but it's personal preference...and I guess I can't really blame him for not wanting to play in Hartford.... but i just don't like players like that.

I respect that.
He was an @ss but I liked him when he was a Blue. I will always remember him picking up his teeth off the ice in the RBC center. Guy was old school tough.
