I'm hoping Voracek isn't concussed. I'm probably going to be disappointed

Voracek is a tough kid. He's gotten up from a lot of huge hits layed on him this season. I don't think he will be out for long, if at all.

Hoping for the best, but with the way Jake stiffened up after that hit he's pretty much done for the rest of the season with a serious concussion. Great first year with the Flyers hope next year is even better.

How Jake doesn't have a concussion after being blasted like that is beyond me. I think they need to give him a couple days and see how he feels.

My thoughts exactly.
I will hold off on the excitement until I hear about how he feels tomorrow morning.

I'd be stunned if he wasn't concussed. Maybe he won't have much PCS and will heal quickly, but there had to be some bruising.

In the interview with G it sounded like he referred to Kronwall as Kornwall... more like Kornhole....

If Jake caught most of the hit in the upper lip/top teeth area, I could definitely see him coming out with no concussion.
His teeth probably split his lip in two, but it probably absorbed most of the impact allowing his brain to not slam into his skull.

It is positive news but that needs to be harnessed since concussions aren't always immediate. There's a series of evaluations that will likely be monitored.

Yeah I was wondering if his face absorbed most of the impact even though it sounds counterintuitive. He does have big lips though so that might have helped ...kidding. I hope he is ok....

The concussion is immediate, it's just the symptoms of the bruise that may take a while to show.

Hope Jake is ok folks - it was pretty scary seeing his body's reaction to that hit, looked like he was about to convulse. I met him when he was with the Mooseheads, he was quite the fan favourite. When he came to Halifax he was so young and he barely knew any English, except the swear words.
Anyway, he's a great kid, hope he's not out for long.
