Starting Enroth's a no-brainer. That means Lindy will have Miller between the pipes.

Tripp Tracy‏ @TrippTracy
Not a cloud in Buffalo sky as I walk to Sabres' Morning Skate. What a novel concept! No skate for Canes. Expect C Ward back in 2night.

Miller first off the ice, per Hoppe.

Why is Miller starting? If there was ever a game to start Enroth THIS would be it

Enroth could never win games during a desperate playoff push...

Big game! Play the next 5 like the last 5, and we're in the playoffs.

Is it just me, or are people overly cranky already? Big opportunity to pull closer tonight.

The Sabres unfortunately continue the drop, Just to add more drama to the mix...

4-2 Candy Canes

Hodgson, Myers, or Roy with a goal

Miller plays tonight but Lindy said almost certain Jhonas plays in one of the next three. I'm betting tomorrow in Boston. #Sabres

I expect Hodgson to have a very good game tonight. Kassian played like the Kassian we saw here most of his stint up with the big club last night...Lacked physicality, seemed a bit disinterested, was a step off....So, by the forces of nature it is only right that Hodgson produces...

I hate hedging bets like this, they should be all out to win every game which means playing Enroth against the worst team of a group of games.

I think it'll be Ottawa. First, Enroth is 2-0-1 with a .955 SV% vs Ottawa this season. Second, and more importantly, playing him in Ottawa gives Miller almost four full days between starts, and will allow Ruff to grind him into the ground until the end of the season.

I think he should be playing tonight. Jhonas Enroth is 2-0-0, with a 0.49 GAA and one shutout in two games versus the Canes.

Maybe, maybe not, but it would be close...
There's 16 games left. If we continue our pace of 7 out of 10 pts, like the last 5, then we should earn around 22-23 points. (.7 of 32 is 22.4). We're at 68 points...

22 points puts us at 90, and 23 puts us at 91. That's pretty close to the standard. They'd probably have to have another OTL point added in there, but it would be close regardless.

BTW...
WPG is on pace for 88pts
Wash is on pace for 87 pts

You'd think with an actual back-up this year, we'd use Enroth more. I mean the dude does have talent, why not use it?

As great as Enroth looked last year, he has taken a step back this year. I think he lost a lot of Ruff's confidence. That, plus the fact that we're in playoff mode right now, and Miller gives us the best chance to win, is why we haven't seen much of Enroth this year.

I don't agree with the decision to start Miller, but as long as we win I'll be happy. Need these 2 points.
