Ched is saying Whitney had a great game? What on earth did they watch? Petry and Smid were our only good d-men. Schultz was alright. But Petry, man, he's just something else right now.

Oh and I liked Omark's game. Didn't get a lot of chances, but was memorable with the time he got. I hope he keeps it up. And that Renney can somehow realize that our vets are the problem and go with

Hall - RNH - Eberle
Omark - Gagner - Hemsky
Smyth - Horcoff - Jones
Eager - Belanger - Petrell

That was the closest we've played to a playoff game in a very long time. Loved it

Omark least TOI for all oilers.

Did they really have Omark playing with Belanger?

I thought it was 23-93-14. Glad I missed it or I might have punched my cat

With limited TOI I though omark looked good, but man I thought we made that rule that says we can only complain about useless things when we lose

Peckham was pretty terrible tonight.

Petry continues to amaze me. For a guy who has yet to play a full NHL season, it sure does not look like it.

I feel bad for Whitney. For years the guy was underrated and underappreciated by fans and his teams before joining the Oilers... and now it looks like he won't even have a career in a year or two.

Gotta give Gagner some credit. He made a couple of crucial defensive plays, and its nice to see him mix it up a bit in the SO. His shot was money.

Even if that's the case, there is such a thing called professionalism. After all, he's still paid to stand there and make all those coaching mistakes.

Oh my god.

He looks like RNH. Not skillwise obviously but the way he wears his equipment.

No kidding, I just don't get how you can play horc on the power play ahead of Nuge and keep your job

For a supposed caring, understanding, nurturing presence he sure spends a lot of time behind the bench looking sullen and pissed off.

Questionable decisions by coaching. You get 1 PP a game. Make it count. RNH. RNH. RNH. Its better than having Hall handle it from that side boards
Well, if it me I get Horcoff off the ice on that first unit.

Gagner better on the dot percentage wise anyway, Hall has same size for net presence battles, and I'd MUCH rather have Hall grabbing juicy rebounds than stone-hands horcs. For that matter, why is Horcs even on the PP?

Dont make sense son.

I'm sure that it was mentioned in the game thread but it was so fun to watch more ******** officiating tomfoolery tonight. No penalties through 50 minutes and then they decide to play an idiotic little game with the players after the automatic delay of game penalty.

It's starting to be so blatant that it's become a running joke for Quinn and DeBrusk. I'm glad that they're pointing out the change in officiating philosophy because you sure as hell won't hear CBC or TSN admit it.

Well Horcoff and Nuge play totally different roles. We don't need RNH in front of the net taking cross checks to the back while trying to screen the goaltender.

It's Gagner that should be demoted to the second unit.
