Where do YOU like to watch the game?

Hey all,

So, I've been wondering how other Sens fans like to enjoy our favorite team play. Since there are several ways to watch them play, I'd like to see which is more popular.

Discuss.

I love atmosphere, so live is a preference. But since I live 6hours from Ottawa that only happens once or twice a year. I world prefer to be in a sports bar, but again, I don't have unlimited money.

Usually I watch the game online.

I like to watch the game from about seven rows up in the upper bowl, but the security guards at SBP said they've warned me about sneaking in for the last time. So I watch it at home with my digital converter that makes the game look like total crap because I'm too cheap to get cable.

...and any non-HNIC game gets streamed, which is worse.

Live is the best option.

If I can't watch live, I'd rather watch on television at home.

Obviously I'd like to watch games live at Scotiabank place, but I m a poor student so I usually end up watching them online/ listening to the Team 1200.

Most of the time at home, on Sportsnet, as the wisdom, wit, and eloquence of Denis Potvin caresses my ears.

SBP, or my couch. Not a big fan of bars or restaurants for Sens games, but I'll gladly go during the playoffs if it's some other team.

Interesting poll. Wouldn't most people pick SBP if they had the chance?

I'm about to match my all-time high for regular season games attended, been to 12 games this season and if I re-call correctly my record is 14, hopefully I'll be topping that in the playoffs.

When I'm not going to games, I'll watch at home on Sportsnet, sometimes listen on the TEAM if I gotta jump in the car for a bit, and occasionally about every couple weeks I'll head out to a restaurant/bar with a couple buds. Local Heroes on Merivale is a great spot, also a big fan of East Side Mario' as they got a really nice bar, Boston Pizza is a solid option as they got good snacking food and now got a new Royal Oak near me but they could use a bigger TV if they want to bring out people for games.

Hockey is a game so much better viewed @ the rink in person.

Next on TV in my living room.

Then online stream on puter.

1. Live @ the rink.
2. TV @ home.
3. Online stream.

right now at the game (~5 plus playoffs)

or

on tv at home.

considering cutting cable though, which would mean no sportsnet. That will probably mean a ton of streams.

If I'm not at the hockey game, I prefer to watch it on TV away from women.

You don't have one of those.

If you do, how is it? I have wondered if the shear size of it would make for a poorer picture.

The way I would like to do it:

1. Live
2. Home
3. Sports Bar

What actually happens:

1. Home
2. Live
3. Sports Bar

Nope, trust me. Even a projected 120" 1080i is still crystal clear HD.

So, how long till I can vote in polls?

Anyways, I watch most games on streams and I love it. Nothing better than lying back in my bed and getting baked out of my tree for a Sens game. It's also a nice treat to visit my parents back home and watch the games on a huge HD screen.
