So, I've been wondering how other Sens fans like to enjoy our favorite team play. Since there are several ways to watch them play, I'd like to see which is more popular.
I love atmosphere, so live is a preference. But since I live 6hours from Ottawa that only happens once or twice a year. I world prefer to be in a sports bar, but again, I don't have unlimited money.
I like to watch the game from about seven rows up in the upper bowl, but the security guards at SBP said they've warned me about sneaking in for the last time. So I watch it at home with my digital converter that makes the game look like total crap because I'm too cheap to get cable.
...and any non-HNIC game gets streamed, which is worse.
Obviously I'd like to watch games live at Scotiabank place, but I m a poor student so I usually end up watching them online/ listening to the Team 1200.
Interesting poll. Wouldn't most people pick SBP if they had the chance?
I'm about to match my all-time high for regular season games attended, been to 12 games this season and if I re-call correctly my record is 14, hopefully I'll be topping that in the playoffs.
When I'm not going to games, I'll watch at home on Sportsnet, sometimes listen on the TEAM if I gotta jump in the car for a bit, and occasionally about every couple weeks I'll head out to a restaurant/bar with a couple buds. Local Heroes on Merivale is a great spot, also a big fan of East Side Mario' as they got a really nice bar, Boston Pizza is a solid option as they got good snacking food and now got a new Royal Oak near me but they could use a bigger TV if they want to bring out people for games.
Anyways, I watch most games on streams and I love it. Nothing better than lying back in my bed and getting baked out of my tree for a Sens game. It's also a nice treat to visit my parents back home and watch the games on a huge HD screen.
