Places to Watch Jet Games In Palm Springs?

I know this is a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone out there knows of any sports bars or restaurants that might play Jets games in the Palm Springs/Coachella Valley, California area?

I'm going to be there over the last week of the season, and if I miss any games I'm going to have a serious nervous breakdown.

I realize this doesn't answer your question it may help you in the future.

I have the Slingbox Pro hooked up to one of my Expressvu receivers. This allows me to watch my satellite tv anywhere in the world so long as you have an internet connection. I was in Jamaica a few weeks back and didn't miss any games. Possibly the best $$$ I have ever spent.

Might want to consider getting NHL Game Center on NHL.com for a one month subscription ($19.99 I believe). You will need a pretty solid internet connection if you want to watch the games in high-definition.

*Careful - the subscription automatically renews you need to phone and cancel.

Yep, like Primetimey said just be sure to call and cancel the automatic renewal for next season. Come October it'll start charging you monthly again for the entire season if you don't call (or send them a message through the Help part of Gamecenter).

Doug Maclean tells a story sometimes about how he was in a Florida bar and asked them to put on the panthers game and they thought he was talking about football. I think there's a fat chance of catching a jets game down there in a bar

half the city is now Canadians so you will probably get it in a bar.

try the Yardhouse in Rancho Mirage or Beer Hunter in La Qunita.

find the snowbird club on line and I bet they would know

I think I've been to The Yardhouse. Very close to where I'll be staying. Thanks for the idea.

I've watched games in PS, at a bar that I do not remember the name. It was in the actual old town PS. There are LOTS of Canadian down there this time of year and bars like to cater to people there to spend money.

Don't bet on getting any sound though.

Buffalo Wild Wings in Palm Desert should have it.

If you're really desperate and can't find anywhere, ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney is only about 90 minutes away.

Second on the BWW. They'll put on any game you want, and if you can get Jets games in Phoenix, you can probably get them in Palm Springs.

I would have suggested you take a 1 hour drive west to the city of Ontario to see one of the Jets' prospects, G Chris Carrozzi, playing for the Ontario Reign, but he was called up to St. John's today. If the IceCaps end up sending him back, then I hope you'll come out to a game if you can. Our team is in first place and that's in large part to the great goaltending we've gotten from Carrozzi.

Thanks guys. This is awesome. I'm actually going to call these places closer to the dates to find out if they'll put the games on.

I did figure there would be at least a couple of options. At least half the population is retired Canadians (my parents included).
